It had been a week. But, it had been one of the better weeks I had had in a long time. My friendship with Link was blossoming again and being with Rhett made me feel like myself again. I think everyone could see the change in me, but no one knew why.

Rhett, Link, and I were strolling down downtown LA, trying to find a good place for lunch. After a week, Rhett and I decided it was time to tell Link. He deserved to know, and we wouldn't have to keep another secret. We had also just decided to keep our past to ourselves, at least for the time. It may not be the absolutely right thing to do, but it was what we felt necessary for the time.

We walked down the crowed streets, having a detailed conversation about sports as we did so. Rhett's fingers lightly grazed against mine as we walked, grasping them lightly. I grinned and squeezed his hand, but continued talking about hockey.

"Rhett and I went to a few Hurricanes games while we were in college. I can't say I was too interested, but the team wasn't exactly great at the time." Link explained.

"It's all about the meaning of the game and the crowd. I'll have to take you to a B's game sometime." I grinned, wanting any chance to go back to Boston.

"I'll keep you on that offer." He grinned, before we walked into a small café.

We got our food and sat down at a small table by a window. I was lost in my own little world, happily eating my sandwich when something kicked my shoe. I looked up to see a pair of greenish orbs staring at me. They were in a way hypnotizing, because if I looked, I couldn't pull my eyes away. I took a moment to think this is mine. I didn't know how or why me, but I couldn't have been more grateful.

I peeled my eyes away from his, only to find Link watching us intently. I looked down as heat rose to my cheeks and a smile took over my face.

"I thought something was up." Link grinned, glancing between us.

Rhett and I just looked at each other with stupid grins, trying not to laugh. Link continued to glance at us with a growing grin.

"How long has it been?" He asked.

"Just a week." Rhett replied, glancing between us.

"Well congratulations, guys." He smiled. "I've been waiting."

Rhett and I glanced at each other, a shade of pink visible on each of our faces. Link simply winked and continued his meal as if nothing had happened. After we could stop grinning, our meal continued as if nothing had happened.

It was just a few minutes later when the door to the café opened and loud voices filled the room. We all naturally looked that way, only to see several buff men walking in with Under Armor shirts and tight jeans. I met a pair of brown eyes. It took me a minute, but after seeing his trim beard, gelled hair, and two full sleeve tattoos, a grin plastered across my face.

"Seggy!" I shouted, before jumping out of my chair and running towards him.

Our bodies clashed together and he held me in a tight embrace. I could hear him chuckle as he lifted me up.

Tyler Seguin was a centerman for the Boston Bruins for several years. Back in 2013-2014 season, there was a major seven player trade with the Dallas Stars, which he was a part of. Now, it's a little known fact I'm super close with all the Bruins guys, so it was devastating for one of my best friends to be traded. I hardly got to see him after that. So to see him unexpectedly was a great surprise.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, lightly punching his arm.

"Game." He replied with a growing smirk. "You should be keeping up."

"Not my fault you don't play for my team any more." I grinned, matching his sass.

"Touché." He grinned, pulling me into another hug.

Rhett's POV-

I couldn't stop grinning as I continued to eat my lunch. I kept glancing at Amy, finding it hard to look away. Along with a cold breeze, a wave of loud voices and laughter swept through the room. I looked back to see a group of men walk in. They all looked to be fairly tall and had the appearance of studs. Before I knew it, Amy shouted something incoherent and ran up to the group.

Her legs wrapped around one of the guys waist as his toned, tattooed arms wrapped around her waist. I bit my check, trying not to get jealous. I was never a jealous guy, but she was different. I was so afraid of losing her again, that every little thing seemed to make me react.

Link and I exchanged glanced, which ended in him shrugging. They exchanged a few words, hugged again, than it seemed line she was being introduced to the other guys. I watched closely as she shook their hands briefly. One of the guys told the mystery man something, lightly punching his shoulder as he did so. The man rolled his eyes and shook his head, before talking to Amy again.

Before I knew it, Amy nodded and pointed towards our table. The guy briefly looked at us, before grinning and nudging her lightly. Amy turned around again and motioned us over. Link stood up first, and I quickly followed, feeling a little uncomfortable.

"Awkward introduction time. Yay!" She clapped, making us all chuckle lightly. "Alright, this is Tyler Seguin. He's a very dear friend of mine who used to play hockey for the Bruins." She introduced.

"I still play hockey, I just got traded." He sighed, making her chuckle.

"Right. Ty, these are Rhett and Link." She introduced. "The short one's Link and the tall one's Rhett." She added.

"I'm not short." Link whined. "Im average with the appearance of being short next to him." He explained, making me chuckle.

"So who's the lucky guy?" He asked with a hint of a smirk.

"Rhett." She grinned looking up at me.

"Congrats man." He nodded, shaking my hand, before shaking Link's as well.

We talked for a few minutes longer, and Amy ended up getting us free seats to the game the next night. Link was super excited, asking Amy questions left and right, as I just watched with a happy grin.
