The only thing that has been on Ashleigh's mind was what her father said to her this morning. All of her friends are asking her to show them her powers, but all she does is walk away. They stare at her in confusion because they're sure that they've seen her do it. Students were even bidding that she could do it or not. She should feel angry about this, but she doesn't care anymore because her father has been keeping secrets from her.

Once the school bell rings, she walks out of the classroom and is now being surrounded by her friends.

"What's the deal, Ash? We believed in you! We thought you were the daughter of The Red Blue Blur!" One of her friends say.

"Sorry, guys... It's all a misunderstanding..." She shrugs and walks away, but when they said the name The Red Blue Blur, everything starts clicking. She stops in her tracks and figure things out, but her closest friend, Chelsea, walks up to her with a box.

"Hey, Ashleigh, come look at what I found!" Chelsea opens the box which reveals a glowing green rock. Ashleigh starts to feel weak and falls to the floor; her insides feeling like liquid and her powers feel like they're not there.

"Oh my gosh, Ashleigh, are you okay?" Chelsea asks, closing the box and picking her up. Ashleigh suddenly feels like before and her powers are back.

"Yeah... I'm fine..." She replies in a low voice, but a bit confused as to what just happened. Ashleigh leaves her friend and walks away, once she's sure that her friend can't see her, she super-speeds home.

Once she reaches home, she drops her bag on the couch and super-speeds to the barn where she sees her father puts hay on the second floor.

"Hi." Her dad greets her when he sees her.

"Hey, dad." She greets him back.

Clark takes off his gloves and places them on the floor. "C'mon, let me explain everything." He walks up to the loft.

"What can you do?" Clark pauses.

"Um, I have super-speed and super-strength."

Knowing that this was not unusual, he doesn't want to make her rush by giving her a list of powers that is about to come. "Okay..." He pauses. "I'll start from the beginning." He explains to her that he's from a planet called Krypton and tells her about The Fortress of Solitude then showing the Octagonal Disk.

Hearing all this from her father, everything is starting to make sense. Her theory of being the daughter of The Red Blue Blur was right. Except, she thought that she was orphaned and was raised by a normal family. Now, it's even cooler to think that The Red Blue Blur is right in front of her; related to her.

"Now, I have to explain this three more times to your brothers and sister." He says, sighing as he raises from the couch. "For now, it's best that they don't know anything just yet."

"Dad..."

"Yeah?"

"Chelsea has this rock and she showed it to me in school. It made me weak, why does it do that?"

Clark sighs. He knew that someday someone would bring the rock upon her. "It's Green Kryptonite. It's the only thing that stops our invincibility."

Ashleigh nods, looking at the ground. Her heart sank when she heard that she has--they--have a weakness. She thought that she could beat up anyone without anything to stop her.

"Come on, our first lesson begins."

Her mood lightens as her father slowly starts to teach her how to control her powers as they were slowly getting out of hand, like it usually does for her age.

Weeks have passed and Clark has heard nothing from Jor-El. Curious, he super-speeds to the Fortress where it looks like it's slowly dying.

My son. Jor-El greets him once he knew his presence.

"Jor-El." Clark says as a greeting back.

I sense a strange being on Earth. Before you brought me back up, Brainiac was here with your friend. He shut me down before summoning a great enemy.

When Jor-El told him about the great enemy, Clark's thoughts went directly to a painting in the cave: a two headed creature, one being a man and the other being an evil like creature.

You must protect the Earth or else Doomsday will come upon them.

Hei :)

It's short, I know... And I know I said that the next one will be longer, but honestly my time is limited. Summer break starts on June 2 for me, so expect better time updates... Maybe...

Anyway, since Ashleigh is now a character, do you want to have another fast forward to when she's about 20 and end with her being the main character and the new super-hero? Because I would gladly take feedback and suggestions, but don't be offended when I don't use your suggestion. It's most likely because I have an idea and I think that your suggestion will sort of not make the idea work or I just can't be able to write it.

Hopefully this I made up all the weeks that I've been absent.

Thanks for reading!!
