Shawn's P.O.V
It was Friday of all days and I was sitting on my front porch reading .. Of course. It was a sunny afternoon I like it since its been raining all week it's a change. I admire the sky for a few seconds when I am buzzed out of my thoughts by a car pulling up to the front of my apartment. I look down and I spot Taylor's red car. He got out took off his glasses smoothly and looked up at me and with one motion said
" So, it's a beautiful day suns shining , how about a picnic " he says holding up a basket
" Doesn't that sound wonderful " I say
" Come down here, I'm waiting " he says
I close the balcony door and lock the front before heading out. I met Taylor down there.
" Hello mister " he said with a smile
" Hey " i said
" alright don't hate me but its kind of a long drive "
" how long are we talking " I say
" like 30 minutes or so " he continues
" okay but I promise you it's worth it ..
It's a surprise "
" Taylor I already said that I forgave you for what happened its okay " I say looking down
" but still I feel bad so I'm making it up to you .. Trust me Shawn "
" okay fine, but I have to be back before my mom gets home from work at 10 "
Taylor checks the time it's seven at the moment. We get in his car and begin the drive, we talk about random things from music to school to what we want to be when we are older.
I look out the window and trees were surrounding me, the car comes to a complete stop and we get out .. It's breathtaking the place were he drove us there's a garden and flowers around us of all different colours. And a water fountain in the middle I'm okay with the drive here now. It's like something I would read and picture In one of my books the beauty is endless.
" Surprise, do you like it " he says with a smile
" it's perfect .. Everything " I continue in shock
" we're did you find this place taylor " "
" I have my ways I come out here to think "
I sign as we lay out a blanket and start talking while eating. Once we were finished we continued to talk
" so this list, sounds pretty important "
" It is, and number one is the most special to me "
" but I got number five " he says with a small laugh
I feel a small chill running down my spine. It is starting to get a little cold outside
" are you feeling cold "
" a little bit but i should be fine "
Before I knew it he took off his jacket and put it on my it smelt like his rich cologne
" but then you'll be cold "
" don't worry I have a hoodie on " he says
" thanks Taylor "
He smiles
" I guess this is a date "
" I guess it is huh " I smile
" why did you say no the first time "
" truth is I was nervous, I've never been out on a date before and I was just scared .. But I'm fine now I guess "
" good, I'm glad I'm getting to know who you are "
He continues
" we should head back it's 8:45 , but we have one more stop to make " Taylor says
I look at him confused as we pack up and head to the car I look back taking in the view, I'm still wearing his jacket
As we are driving for what seems like 15 mins he stops in the middle of the road. Good thing no ones on the road and its not busy
" okay follow me " he said as I got out of the car and started following him
I don't know what he is doing
" your crazy Taylor " I say with a laugh
" okay put one foot to the right and one foot to the left and face me"
We were face to face and I was still confused until he spoke
" your standing in two places at once, number five is complete"
I just stand there with no emotion, no one has ever done something like this ever, I just run up to him and hug him as tight as possible
" Thank you " I whisper in his ear while he is still holding onto me
As we drive I am tapping my hand on my knee and Taylor reaches over and grabs it I look at him with a smile and intertwine out fingers together he rubs his thumb on my hand calming me down.
We get to my apartment not shortly after and he walks me up to the front entrance still holding my hand
" this was really fun .. Thank you "
" your very welcome, I had a good time to "
" anyways I think your mom is home you should go "
" oh your jacket" I take it off and hand it too him
" thanks again " i say
" anytime" he leans in and gives me a soft kiss on the cheek
" goodnight Shawn"
He smiles and gets in his car and drives off
I can't stop smiling as I enter the apartment I find my mom in the living room watching a movie
"Hi honey, where were you "
" out with Taylor "
" ohhhh out with Taylor, how did that go "
" perfect .. Just perfect " I say smiling
Lets just say, A mother knows when you really like someone
I fall asleep fast later that night in hope that he is thinking about me as much as I'm thinking about him
