Taylors P.O.V
Everything went amazing better than I had thought it was going to go. I hoped for the date to shift in a new direction and to be able to get to know Shawn better and that what ended up happening. Its safe to say that he has been on my mind this whole week. I hang out with him almost everyday after our date and we are getting close. I never expected myself getting into a serious relationship with anyone but I guess Shawn is the angel that came along and changed all that.
I'm driving over to his apartment, to watch some movies his mom is working late so I thought i would keep him company. I pull my car up into the parking lot and knock on his door lightly, he opens it and I smile seeing his beautiful face on the other end.
" Hello handsome " I say pulling him in for a hug
' hmm I missed you alot ' he says hugging me tighter
" i did too, babe"
We walk into the apartment and put in the first movie to watch, I pull him close as we cuddle on his couch, he rests his head on my shoulder.
Shawn gets up and goes into the kitchen to get us some drinks, I look to the side of me and see a picture of a man. Hes smiling and looking very happy. I see Shawns mom next to him smiling as well
His dad.
I drifted off thinking about how close he was to Shawn and how Shawn would tell me stories about him.
I heard Shawn come from the kitchen I quickly put the picture down and looked up at him
" If there were two things my dad loved the most it would be the stars and my mom " he said
' You love him alot didnt you " I asked
" we would do everything together before he died "
" I would have loved to meet him "
" he would have loved you. Taylor " he says sitting close to me
We sit there looking at eachother , his eyes are so engaging . I lean in looking up at him
" I might kiss you " I say getting close to him
" I might be bad at it " Shawn says, i smile a little
" Thats not possible " I say leaning closer
Our lips met in a sweet, slow yet passionate kiss .. it was perfect.
I pull away slowly, still looking at him. We smile at eachother, still close
I speak
" Shawn, " i pause
" I love you " I continue
looking at him waiting for his response all I heard was quiet
I sigh " Now would be the time to say something Shawn " i say quietly
" Taylor, I told you not to fall in love with me "
" but I did .. im sorry "
I leaned over and kissed him and he kissed back. Everything was perfect.
He will say it when he is ready.
