Jun's POV

I stepped out of my apartment, headphones in, rolling my suitcase down the cement that surrounded my building.  I walked to the uber that I called and stepped in after putting my suitcase in the trunk.  We drove an awkwardly silent trip to the airport, and I was honestly dreading the flight.

Walking into the airport I realize just how much I hated being alone in places like this.  I would keep my small, white ear buds in, even if music wasn't playing.  I wanted to look like I was occupied, and not just some nervous 17 year old who decided to fly somewhere out on a whim.

There was a small crowd farther down the airport, which honestly confused me, maybe it was a gate?  No, it was a normal walkway.  Maybe something happened to one of the gates and they all decided to meet there?  That's stupid.  I couldn't see far enough too decipher what was going on.  I just looked back down at my phone, and brushed it off.

When my flight started boarding, I realized that I wasn't going to be sitting alone.  I just got into the flight as fast as possible, turned my phone on airplane mode, and grabbed a book.  When the plane started taking off, I hadn't realized that somebody was next to me.  Maybe this flight won't be so bad.

After the plane took off, I looked at the person sitting next to me.  She was a little Japanese girl, around 14,15,16?  She kept turning around, as if trying to talk to a friend.  Then she started to beg a little, clasping her hands and then hiding her face behind them.  The girl turned back, and looked up at me.  I waved a bit, and she seemed surprised.  She quickly brushed it off and waved back, and I picked up my book and started reading again.

After a while, she got up, and instead of walking in the direction of the bathroom, she walked to the back instead, and an older girl seemed to take her place.  I didn't look at her much, I was too busy looking out the window and listening to Fall Out Boy.

I turned to the right to reach for my phone, and as I grabbed it my eyes started wandering upwards, seeing her face.

It was Suzuka Nakamoto.

I looked down instantly and I could feel my cheeks practically setting on fire.  I changed the song rather quickly and put my phone back.

A couple minutes later, I felt a soft tap on my right arm.  I slowly turned, and Suzuka was looking at me.  All I could do was hope that I wasn't blushing.

"Uhm, are you Jun Sung Ahn?" She asked.

"Oh, uh, yeah." I replied.
I turned back to the window.

How did she know who I was? Had she seen my videos? What is happening?!

"Hey Jun?" She asked, "I'm a big fan of your videos!"

Talking to her made me realize how positive she is.  Even though I'm just a small YouTuber, I wouldn't have the guts to talk to somebody like that.

"Oh, uh, thanks!"

I couldn't help but stare at her beautiful eyes.  Everything about her was gorgeous.  Her personality, her voice, and even her appearance.

We kind of just sat there, looking at each other for a minute or two.

Contrary to the silence at home, filled with nothing but loneliness, this silence was amazing.  It felt like so many things were happening, when really, we weren't doing anything. I felt like I was dreaming.

As I had taken one of my ear buds out, she could hear ever so faintly what I was listening to.

A Babymetal song, Meta Taro, started playing, and due to me and Suzuka's silence, she could hear it.  My face automatically turned bright red and I turned away, and tried to laugh it off a bit.

Her face lit up, and her eyes went wide.

"Meta Taro!" She said, whilst giggling.

She started to softly sing the lyrics, and there it was.  That beautiful voice of hers.

She was so electric, so bright, she's so joyous about everything, even a boring airplane ride like this.  She reminded me of the sun.

For a couple hours we sat together, occasionally exchanging words, but not frequently.

After a while she started to doze off, and she fell asleep perfectly in her seat.  She looked so beautiful, where are these emotions coming from?!

I snapped back into reality, I have to be dreaming, right?

This all happened in a matter of what, 2 days?

I kept reasoning with myself, trying not go get any of my hopes up.

But no matter how much I reasoned,

I wish she had fallen asleep with her beautiful head rested on my shoulder.
