MCSM One-shot Write-off
Q: Why can't I write more than 3 chapters in the writing contest?
A: Technically, it's a one-shot writing contest, and one-shots are meant to be short, so we don't want contestants to submit a novel instead of a one-shot.
Q: How long does a part have to be?
A: There isn't a specific limit, but somewhere around 2500 words per part is ideal maximum number of words.
Q: Does a prologue count as a part?
A: Yes, it does.
Q: Can I use multi-media?
A: Yes, you can! If you think the materials can add the tone or atmosphere to your story, please do! A good selection of multi-media can add extra points to your work!

MCSM Artist Head-to-HeadQ: I will join the art contest, but I draw like an 8-year-old...
A: It's totally fine! Everyone has their different levels of skills. Plus, this contest is all about fun! So it's okay if you're drawing skills isn't as good as the others, just let your inner fandom universe explode and create as your heart desries!
Q: What kind of art should I submit?
A: Any kind of art you want! From traditional art to digital art, there's isn't a 'no' to that! :D
----------
For Both ContestsQ: Can I submit more than 1 work?
A: Yes, you can.
Q: Can I join both contests at the same time?
A: Yes.
Q: If a contestant wins the first competition, are they allowed to enter the next competition in the same category?
A: Yes, they can. Unless if the club invited that person to be the judge for the next contest and they accepted it, then no. Since judges cannot enter any of the contests.
Q: When a contestant wins in the writing contest (or art contest), can they participate in next month's art contest (or writing contest)?
A: Users can join whatever contest they want! So yes, you can.
Q: Can I add OCs into my work?
A: Depends. Usually contestants can add their OCs to their works, but in some themes, it is not recommended to add them. Don't worry, if it's specified OCs are not allowed in the work, it will be written along with the theme.
Q: Can MCSM OTP be a future theme? (Popular demand)
A: We don't think that will likely to be a theme, since shipping is a pretty overused theme. But contestants can incorporate their ships in the works, as long as it's still related to the given theme.
Q: Do I have to create an individual book for my submission?
A: It is recommended to do that.
Q: Is it necessary to add a cover to my work? Will it add extra points?
A: Contestants can choose whether they want to add a cover or not. But the cover won't add any points to your submission.
Q: Is it a must to tag my work?
A: Not really. It's just a way prove you have submitted your work.
Q: How can I get my results?
A: After the judges read contestant's work, the club will send them their results through private message.
Q: What are the prizes if I win the contest?
A: Winner's work will be added to our reading list, 'MCSM Contest Winners'.
----------
JudgesQ: Can I be a judge for the next contest?
A: Users cannot be the judges without the club's invitation.
Q: How can I become a judge?
A: You have to be invited by the club in order to be a judge. We invite users who are winners of previous contests or non-contestant famous MCSM users.
Q: If I'm a judge, can I submit works for the contests?
A: No, you can't. Because it will be unfair if the judge can judge their own work.
----------
Technical ProblemsQ: How do I add a tag in my work?
A: On android or mobile devices, press the button with three white dots and press 'Story Settings', in there, there's a category titled 'Tags'. Press the 'Add tags' button and type in the given tag of the contest you're participating. After that, press 'ADD'.
On PC or notebook, there's a 'Edit Story' button. Click it, and click on the '+ Add a tag' button that's below the description. Then type the tag as usual.
