2. Morning at Sharu's home

I was in deep sleep and i was awaken by my mom with a cup of coffee in her hands.

"Gd morning amma" i said drinking coffee

"Poi kulichitu va. Office ku late aguthu"
"Go take bath and come. Its getting late for office" she said

"OK ma" I said and i ran inside the bath room to take bath with my tooth brush inside my mouth.

I came out and got dressed in a sky blue chudidhar. Yeah My favourite color is blue. I neatly combed my hair and put a high pony.

I looked at my wrist watch. It was 7.30 am. I went inside the bedroom and I found my sisters sleeping.

"Sruthy!!! Preethi !!! Enthiringa mani 7.30 am aaguthu. Rendu pearum schooluku pogalaiya ? Inum enna thookam ungaluku?"
"Sruthy!!! Preethi !!! Get up time is 7.30 am now. Aren't you both going to school today. Till now how u r sleeping?" I screamed

"Ena ka 7.30 than na aguthu. Inum 5 minutes thoongarom. Please."
"What ka its just 7.30. Let us sleep for 5 more minutes. Please" said Preethi

"Amam akka pls"
"Yes akka. Pls." Said Sruthy

"Ennavo pannunga ennakena"
"Do what ever u want. I don't care" I said and took my bag and came out of the bedroom.

"Maa sapadu ready ayidicha? Tiffin box LA pottu bag la vechutiya ?"
" maa is food ready? Did u put it in the tiffin box and kept it in my bag?" I asked while putting my stuffs inside my bag.

"Na apavae bag la vechutaen"
" I kept it in your bag before itself" said my mom.

I ate two dosa for breakfast. I washed my hands , drank some water and took my bag.

" ma bye! bye sruthy! bye vallu !" I said and I left the house.

I waited for bus number 5E to go to Besant nagar.
After 10 min bus came. I reached the office at 8.45pm

Glossary of Tamil words in English :

1. Amma/ maa -mom

2. Akka/ ka - elder sister

3. Chudidhar - in Tamil nadu chudidhar is a dress consisting a pant , a long top which has a cut in its sides and a shawl which is known as dhupatta in Tamil. I have not given a clear description of chudidhar but the pic below will help u know how a chudidhar looks like.its popular among Indian women and girls.

4. Dosa - "its a kind of pancake made with fermented batter" says Wikipedia. Its popular all over the Indian subcontinent.

5. Vallu - naughty
