Chapter Ten

"Where the hell are you Normani!?" yelled her father when she picked up the phone.

"I'm- I'm-"

"Well where the hell are you!?"

Zendaya and Lisa start shaking their heads violently and mouthing the words "Don't say anything!"

"I'm at Lisa's."

"Why? What dont you understand about being on punishment? School starts back up in two days and that's the only place you were allowed to go. Get cha ass home right now!"

"Okay."

"Is Zendaya with you?"

"Yes."

"Both of you, get here NOW. We're gonna have a talk." and with that he hung up the phone.

"We have to go. Now."

"What about Dj?" asked Lisa.
Lauren came jogging back into the emergency room waiting area and handed Lisa her keys.

"She's alright. What happened?"

"We gotta get home. Now," said Zendaya.

"But what about Dinah and Camila?" asked Lauren.

"I'll drop you guys off and then-"

"Naw. I'm staying with Dinahmite. You can take Mani home."

"I'm staying with you Daya," said Normani standing up.

"No you need to go home Mani! We both are already in enough trouble!"

"I'm not going anywhere! I'm staying here!"

"You guys, I think we got company," said Lisa looking out of the window.

The police was outside checking the license plates on the minivan Lisa borrowed from her mom. All of the girls ducked and crawled to the bathroom and locked the door.

"Oh my fucking God!" yelled Lisa.

"Relax! Nothing is going to happen okay?" said Zendaya.

Normani was pacing back and forth inside of the small bathroom.

"That's my mom's minivan okay? I'm going to get in so much fucking trouble! And you two are gonna get in- Oh my God Camila is in the car with all the shit we just stole!" yelled Lisa.

"Wait, be quiet!" Normani whisper yelled as she put her ear to the door.

Police: Has the owner of the blue minivan been in here?

Secretary: I don't think I even saw the people who got out of that vehicle. They are probably around here somewhere.

Police: We're going to check the hospital and it's perimeter. Have a nice night ma'am. Lets start searching inside.

"We need to run. Leave the fucking car, get Camila and the shit out and run!" said Normani.

"What? How the hell can we do that!?" said Lauren.

"We only have about ten minutes to get the shit, get Camila and run! They are checking the hospital inside and out. They are starting with the inside first so we have to sneak out," said Normani slowly opening the door.

She opened the door and hit one of the officers with it.

"Oh, my bad. Didn't mean to do that," she said with a smile.

"It uh, it's alright. Have a nice night ma'am," said the officer with a smile.
When he walked off, Normani motioned for the rest of them to come out.
