CHAPTER III - MYRITELE
During her trip to Nielol, she recalled the day Olabuya was born.
It was seven months from the day she found out she was pregnant, It started with mild stomach pains that got increasingly worse. As she was going to see the Royal doctor, her water broke.
Twenty-five hours later, she gave birth to a healthy, six and a half pound baby girl. She was exhausted from the ordeal, but she was the happiest she would ever be.
Jumoke was by her side the whole time. He cried holding his daughter for the first time.
The next day, Rimac visited her. Saqui asked him, "Will she have the powers of the Great Spirits?"
"I an unsure. Even if she did, she would have to be trained to use them. We will not know until years from now."
Shortly after midday, Saqui reached the village where she was raised. She had no time to catch up with her mother. She needed to find the myritele.
She ran to the icelands north of Nielol. When she could no longer get her footing, she flew.
She found Piro, the seeker sent to find the mineral.
"Your Highness, I have traced it to this location, but I do not see it."
Saqui used her sensing ability, which was more in tune than Piro's. She pointed to a large chunk of ice.
"The myritele is under this block of ice."
"How will we get it?"
She called upon the Spirit of the Mageeac. Using all of her strength, she tried to lift the block. However, she could not stand on the icy surface.
She called upon the Spirit of the Jevaja to levitate her inches from the slippery ground so she could keep the ice still.
As she lifted the block of ice, a thalar emerged. It resembled a polar bear, twelve feet in length, and weighed over a thousand pounds. Its eight-inch claws helped it keep a grip to walk on the ice. Seeing a stranger invading its turf, it attacked her.
She did not want to hurt it. She knew she was in the wrong and wanted to finish this mission as quickly as possible. She used the Spirit of the Vidrüsse to protect herself from its attack.
When it was high enough, she told Piro, "Hurry. Get the myritele."
The myritele was a pale green mineral. It was opaque but rough to the tough. There were huge quantities of it under the ice.
With only a foot to work worth, Piro crawled under the ice and retrieved several pieces of the mineral. She crawled out as quickly as she could.
"Thank you," Saqui told the seeker. She dropped the ice to confront the thalar. It was a massive beast, but when it saw her turn to defend herself, it ran.
When it was gone, she gave Piro the container of aegeira, which had frozen.
"Now, return to the Palace with these."
Piro took the container and left for the Grand Central Palace.
Saqui, meanwhile, hurried to Aa Tlorec to find the third part of the cure.
