(Video is about my nurse practitioner)
Mid January - with a nurse assistant
Talked about hormone blockers and made a prescription.
Talked about the effects, cost and places I could get the shot on the body. Talked about when I would probably start testosterone (January, 2017 probably) , talked about how I feel about my body and what school was like when I was young and how I felt at school etc. , met Dr. Massarella and got her to sign the prescription and she talked with us a bit and she said she finds that a lot of LGBTQ youth are artistic in some way (not all) after she found out that I was doing really well in visual arts class in school and she said my birth date was super cool and she shook my parents and my hand and the appointment ended.Phone call - Dr.Massarella May 5th, 2016
My mom called about my neck weakness and jaw pain. She said the muscle weakness is a rare side effect but I should be okay. She said that I should get my jaw checked out by a dentist. She says I could be grinding my teeth while I sleep without knowing it or wisdom teeth growing in. My mom mentioned my name change and Dr. Massarella said she would write a note for my gender marker to be changed too. Dr. Mazzarella also mentioned starting testosterone maybe after 1 more shot of Lupron (around September, 2016)May 24th, 2016 - nurse practitioner's assistant
Discussed what side effects from lupron I had. Talked about when I will start testosterone and they'll start me in September most likely on a smaller dose and start giving me a bigger dose when I turn 16. Also talked about my blood work (which turned out good) and then they gave me the letter to get my gender marker changed. Talked about what side effects testosterond will have again and that we'll need to fill out paperwork. Made my appointment for my next lupron shot. Made an appointment to talk about testosterone.
