Chapter 1: Confession

Verse 1: I held my hands tightly together as he stood in front of me, awaiting what has been coming for many years now. I shook in terror as he stared at me with his big brown eyes that showed warmth and kindness.

Verse 2: I stood at in front of her with a sinking feeling in my chest and I couldn't help but feel pity for her. She stared at me with her blue eyes that looked like a summer sky. Her hands were held tightly together, and then she spoke with a soft voice.

Verse 3: Her feelings poured, she couldn't keep it in any more, fore she confessed to her first love.... Who wasn't a love to begin with.

Verse 4: She poured her feelings to me, but she was utterly blind. I knew she thought, I was her first love but I did not know, how to tell her that my heart belonged to another that couldn't be expressed through words. But only writing could do what words couldn't.

Verse 5: Both hearts loved, but both hearts loved separately, one loved another while the other loved who was loving another. Both hearts were vast but one was in the past while the other loved and admired another. "Hearts were the vast and past" she said with a deep sigh, in this case she was correct.

Verse 6: To her terror he rejected her, explaining that he loved another. Her heart shattered and coldness wrapped itself around her like a chains that weighed one self down. Her eyes, no longer a summer day, was now a cold storm.

Verse 7: Her hands dropped to her sides in sorrow, she avoided eye contact with him as he continued explaining. In pure humility she walked past him without another word, she now walked with a shattered heart and chains instead of heart full of joy.
