Chapter 2: Arriving in Floria

In was only hours before Trinaty arrived in Florida, and you could tell once you arrived because it was 93 degrees. Instantly Trinaty got off the plane and rushed to the bathroom putting on sunscreen and changing into shorts and her Iowa tee-shirt.

Trinaty hurried to the parking lot with her travel bag so she could find her dad, he would stand out too because he's about 6'3 so you really couldn't miss him. About 2 parking lanes down was a silver car blaring music, and sure enough, it was Trinatys father named Chris. Chris saw Trinaty approach him
And he instantly came over and gave her a hug. "I can't actually believe it, it's been 7 years sense I seen ya and this is how I see my daughter? A gorgeous 17 year old who looks exactly like her mother? I could've sworn you were your mother for a second." Chris said laughing. Trinaty backed away and coughed her father had a strong scent that was cigarettes, beer, and cologne combined. "It's nice to see you too dad, it's been to long." She smiled. Chris took her bags and threw them in the back seat. They both hoped in the car and sat in the parking spot for a second so that the air conditioning could cool them. "So did the plane ride treat you right?" Her dad asked as he was scrolling thorough his phone. "It was alright, I didn't really do anything I just sat there for hours on end. But I ate and lived so it was okay." Trinaty said sitting there looking at the window. Chris put the car in drive as he put his phone down and they started driving home.
"So, you don't smoke right?" Chris asked.
"Of course not, that's disgusting" Trinaty snickered
"Alright good, don't become like me or your mom."
"Okay." She said in a weird look.
"And uh, weird question time. Are you still a virgin? Do you have a boyfriend?" Chris asked not looking st Trinaty.
Trinaty sat there looking at him and couldn't believe what she heard. And then they both busted out laughing.
"Okay yeah that was really weird, but yes I'm still a virgin because I've never had a boyfriend before so I guess that answers your second question." Trin said turning on her phone. And she has many notifs-
"Hey, text me" -Ray
"Why aren't you answering?" -Ray
"Are you okay?" -Ray
"I love you, please answer" -Ray
"Bestie please answer" -Ray
-4 missed calls from Ray-
Failed Factime "Ray"
"Text me when you get to your dads." -Mother

Trinaty just rolled her eyes and responded to all of them saying she was okay and she loved them both.
Trinaty never had a crush on Ray because she always saw him as a bestfriend that he is.

They both arrived at Chrises huge house that was about 14 bedrooms (I guess you could say it was a mansion) the house held 3 bathrooms and most of the bedrooms were closed due to air conditioning and heating. Trinatys bedroom was a blue bedroom with only a bed with white blankets and a dresser which was black.. Pretty boring but it gave Trinaty somewhere to have privacy.

"Okay, so I'm gonna let you go unpack yourself and in about an hour I will take us out to see Bill and Cason okay?" Chris said at the front door.
"Yeah, thats cool." Trinaty added smiling and walking inside.

Bill is one of Chris's bestfriends that he has had sense he was in school, Cason is Bills son who is a Sophomore who goes to school on reservation so Trinaty won't have anyone she knows at her public school.

Trinaty runs up to her room and tosses her stuff on her bed so that she can FaceTime Ray real quick.
-calling Ray-
R- Hey Trin, you made it ?
T- yes sir, it's been a little awkward but I'm still living
R- I bet, you haven't seen him in 7 years right?
T- yeah, he asked me if I had a boyfriend
R- That's funny, and you said?
T- obviously no
R- have you told him about me?
T- why would I tell him about you?
R- maybe because I'm the most important friend in your life?
T- he'll think you're my boyfriend and you're not so no
R- alright
T- yep, wait a se- are you in my bedroom?
R- absolutely not
T- yes you are, get out
R- I'm just totally going through your bra and underwear drawer don't mind me
T- you better not
R- *laughs* I'm not I promise
T- *doesnt pay attention to Ray*
R- *puts one of Trinatys bras on his head and starts laughing*
T- EWWWWW GET THAT OFF YOUR HEAD YOU SICKO
R- *laughs so hard he falls*
T- get up you mother fucker I told you no ! *trinaty starts laughing*
R- okay okay well, I have to go so I'll call you later?
T- yep
R- bye love you
T- see ya
-ends call-

Trinaty laughs and slips on her flip flops and more sun screen to go see Bill and Cason.

Trinaty finds a old picture of her, her mom, and her dad together when she was 3 on her nightstand. A tear fell and she just could smile. She sets the picture down and walks around her room looking at her old stuff. Then she finds a note next to her laptop on her vanity which was a school approval from Venice High School. So that's great, she starts school at Venice in a week.

"Alright! Time to go!" Her dad yelled up the stairs.
"Cominggggggggg !!" Trinaty yelled grabbing her phone and running downstairs.

They arrive at Bills house less then 2 minutes later and the house isn't big at all, fit for about 3-4 people. But then again Chrises house is huge and there's only 1 person when Trinaty isn't there.
Trinaty gets out and then a tall guy with no shirt on and a nice tan runs up to her giving her a hug "oh my gosh Trinaty ! It's been so long" said a deep guys voice hugging her tight, then instantly she knew who it was. "Yeah it has been so long!" Trinaty said as Cason set her back down. "You look so grown up, and so good jeez. Iowa has done you well." Cason said.
Cason was pretty tall and he has nice blonde hair and bright blue eyes that could take your breath away any day, it was kinda hard to believe he was only a Sophomore. "It really has, but I'm glad to be back." Trinaty said shyly fixing her hair. "Cmon, Bill wants to see ya." Cason said grabbing her arm and rushing her inside.
The inside of the house was very cramped and there was about 8 or 9 people in there. Trinaty smiled when she saw her aunt that she recognized "Trinaty omg ! Look at you babe !" Her Aunt Jessica said rushing to her. "No! Look at you ! You've lost so much weight ! You're absolutely stunning!" Trinaty said being held in a tight hug. "Thank you so much! And you look so grown up! I can't believe it's been 7 years, the last time I seen you, you were about 9 or 10." Jessica said. Trinaty nodded and just smiled.
Everyone said hi and greeted her which took about hours. Bill made them dinner but Chris had to hurry Trinaty home because he had an emergency at work.

All she did for the rest of the night is watch movies and sleep, but it was hard to sleep because all she could do is think of Iowa and everyone she missed.

The few days later were about the same, being greeted by people, FaceTimeing Ray and calling mom, being bored all the time. But then Monday rolled around and that was the day she started at Venice High school.

Trinaty is not prepared at all....
