He wasn't kidding. He stood there at the end of the small church ail, wearing a dark black suit and navy necktie. The tie was a lot more slick than the others back home so it was assumable that he must have bought it new.
Did it come with the suit, I wondered to myself while Priscilla from behind begun panicking over the littlest details.
Bridezillas had nothing on my maid of honor. She had gone on extreme levels to make everything perfect today. I couldn't imagine how crazy she would be on her wedding.
This might be a reason why Finn hasn't got the nerve to purpose yet.
"Rarity!" Priscilla hissed, grabbing onto my forearm. "Get away from the entrance. No one is allowed to see you yet!"
I rolled my eyes, allowing her to pull me back to where Maxwell was beside my bouquet. He didn't dare make a comment at the hysterical scene. Priscilla had already ripped him a new one. And it wasn't pleasant.
"Max!" She barked, causing the ex-gang member to jump.
She sent a stern glare in his direction. She may have looked pretty with her curly blond hair and bright eyes but it was a disguise. Underneath all that glitter and hairspray definitely laid a monster.
"Keep an eye on her! I have to go find my flowers." She gave him my arm and we both watched as she clicked away on her heels back to the dressing room.
When she was out of earshot, Max released a long breath. His shoulders become less tense and posture more settled. Hopefully, he would stay this relaxed during the reception.
"Wow, she is a handful." He shook his head, looking thankful that his girlfriend wasn't such a viscous animal.
"Yeah, maybe I should have made Ella my maid of honor." I laughed as his earlobes became bright red at the sound of her name.
Awe, they both were just too cute for words.
"She already thankful enough that you are letting her be a bridesmaid, Rarity. Thanks."
"You don't need to thank me. She's a sweet girl. I'm happy she might become my future sister in-law."
We clasped into a sudden silence. He thought about Ella and I couldn't keep my mind off Benjamin. If only Priscilla given me a few more minutes to intake his appearance. I hadn't even got a chance to catch a glimpse of his face.
Did he still keep that stubborn curl in his hair? He better have. He knew I thought it was sexy.
It was troublesome having to wait for the music to start. If they didn't let me through the doors soon I was going to bust in there. After all, I had been patient long enough to finally become a Royal.
We both decided that night after our private engagement party to change our last names. Knight and Homes were names of the past. The surname Royal was going to be proof we both fought for the unique title and made it out alive.
"Thinking about Mr. Cover Boy?" Maxwell questioned with a slight grin.
I nodded, feeling a little bit sheepish for getting so lost in thought.
Max let out a laugh. He wasn't surprised. Everyone that got to know me over the years knew well most of the time I was thinking of Benjamin. He took up a lot of my free time.
