Chapter 14

We start filming today. Oh god. It will be the first time i have seen Josh in who knows how long. Is it wrong to say i have butterflies in my stomach. Maybe I'm just hungry. I see Willow standing in the lobby with Francis. Josh walks u them and starts talking. Willow waves at me to come over there.

"You will have to face him some time. Why not act like nothing happened. Show him that you dont need him." Liam says.

"You are so right." I say to him.

I walk up to Willow and give her a big hug. I act all happy and stuff. I give Josh a hug. He seems taken back. I suppress my laugh.

"Josh i have not seen you in like forever!!" I exclaim alittle too peppy.

"Ya it's been a while, hasn't it." he mumbles running his hands through his hair.

"It's been too long! We should totally go on a double date!"

Ouch that's gotta hurt. I can actually see the hurt on his face.

"Maybe." he says, "maybe.."

I walk away trying to hold back my tears. Willow grabs my hotel key and runs after me. She hands it to me as we step on the elevator. I see josh looking straight at me. Our eyes truly connect for the first time and then the doors shut. I slump down and put my head in my hands.

"I didn't think it would be this hard." I tell willow.

"It's gonna be okay, Jen. It will always be okay." she says trying to help.

I walk down to my room. I fall on to my bed and just start sobbing. I can't hold it in anymore. Someone knocks on my door. I try to get myself together but I can't.

"It's open." I cry.

"Jen..." Elizabeth whispers.

"Oh hey." I croak.

"Sweetie.."

She runs over to the bed and sits down next to me which makes me start sobbing even more.

"Make the pain stop." I cry, "it hurts too much!"

"I know... I know. But it will get better." Elizabeth whispers.

"How can it! i have to see him every day!"

"It will be. You are strong and beautiful and it will be okay."

I really don't know what happened next. all I can remember is hearing two people talk.

"Just let me see her." he pleads.

"I can't. you caused this don't you see." she snaps.

"I know and it kills me. I need to see her. I love her."

"I know you do."

"Please.. Give me 5 minutes."

"Fine."

I hear the door creek open. My bed starts to dip. it's him. I know it from his cologne. I bought it for him.

"I know you aren't awake right now and so you won't remember any of this but I'm sorry. I know that probably means nothing but it kills me every day knowing you aren't mine. it might look like I've moved on but I haven't. You still hold the key to my heart and you will always." He pauses, "Forever and always."
