Graduation Day

Yhona POV

"Sweetie are you ready?" Mom asked me as I was next to climb up the stairs and unto the stage to take my diploma.

I took a deep breath before nodding my head placing a wide smile across my face.

When the person standing on the stage went down,my heart starts to beat drastically in my chest as if it was going to pop out of it anytime and my hands now start to sweat. I hooked my arms with my mom and dad that were smiling widely at meas we slowly walk up the stairs.

"Minkhu,Yhona Victoria." They called me as we reached the top stair.

I let go of my parents and walked ahead of them.

I stood in the middle of the stage as i released a sigh and smiled. My eyes scanned the crowd for one particular person,and smiled when I finally spotted blonde locks standing on the side by the air conditioner smiling widely at me,dimples showing.

My smiled grew wide seeing him watching me happily as the medals where hanged around my neck and the diploma being handed over to me.

Me and my parents shook their hands before smiling at the crowd to take pictures.

"WOOO! THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND THERE! WOOOOO!"

"YEEAAAH! YOU ROCK GIRL!"

I laughed to myself as i hear Millie and Darcy screaming in the crowd and waved to them.

We bowed before proceeding to go down the stairs.

As i got down i was immediately  engulfed in a tight hug by my two best friends.

"Oh my god girl i'm so proud of you! Graduating as this years valedictorian is no joke!" Darcy said to me letting me go from the tight hug.

"Hehe thanks girls. Congratulations too" i said then smiled at them.

*cough*

We turn our heads behind and saw Namjoon standing behind me.

"We'll leave you to now. Hehe." Millie smiled at us cheekily before pulling Darcy away with her.

"Hey.." i said then he slowly walked towards me.

"Hey you~" he said when he reached me.

My heart starts to beat when i felt his warm,soft hand touch mine.

"You made it.." i smiled happily at him.

"Uh-yeah.." then his smile suddenly faded.

I was curious to why suddenly his mood changed as if he remembered something. I just shrugged it off. Today is a happy day. Maybe he's just tired.

"Congratulations." He said. He's voice kinda sounds..sad. Just a while ago he's happy and clapping for me..

"Uh, you alright Namjoon?" I asked as I neared him and grab his hand.

"Y-yeah." There was a silent pause before he spoke again." Can we take a walk outside? I need to tell you something."

"Uhm okay?" I answered as I held his hand and led him outside the auditorium.

Something just doesn't feel right..

We walked towards the school's garden.

My curiosity grew to why he was suddenly acting like this right now when a moment ago he was so happy and clapping for me.

We sat on the bench under tree near the school's fountain. As soon as we sat up, he distanced himself from me a little. Creating space between us.

I looked at him taken aback to why he was acting this way. Silent grew between us.

"Oppa is something the wrong?" I asked getting a little impatient.

"Is there something  wrong? Are you not happy for me? Earlier you were just so happy for me and the second you started acting like this towards me? Are you mad at me or something?" I asked

This was supposed to be a happy day. This is the day of my graduation. We're suppose to be celebrating. Not like this.

"Look if you're gonna be like this I'll go in---"

"Let's end this.."
