New Girl, and Mystery Boy

New Town

Hi, my name is Luna. I'm 19 years old and I would love to be a tattoo artist or a professional artist in general. I love rock music. I'm about 5'3" (I know, I'm a shorty). I originally had to move to Portland because of my boyfriend, but we broke up and he stayed home in Colorado. I decided to move to Portland anyway in hopes of finding new opportunities for myself....

I'm in yet another new town. God I can't believe I agreed to move all the way to Portland just for that jerk to leave me. I hope the new place will make me forget about that asshat, Andy. I grab my bag, and head towards the house. I got to the room that was to be mine. I, of course, went straight to my window. When I opened it I could see into the neighbor's room....weird. I shut the blinds and decided to unpack.

I had my iPod playing music while I was drawing. The sun was just beginning to set, so I opened my window. Only this time, there was a boy in the other room. He looked my age, maybe a year or so older. He had a guitar in his lap and a pen and notebook on the windowsill. As I went to shut the window, he looked up and noticed me. He smiled and waved at me. Well I can't just shut the blinds now, so I waved back at him. He opened the screen of his window and motioned for me to do the same. Now we were sitting, looking at each other with our windows open. He was the first to speak, "what's your name?" His voice....it was perfect..."Luna" I replied. He smirked, "What's your full name, Luna?" At this point, I would normally laugh and shut the window, never speaking to the guy again, but there was...something about him that I couldn't shake off and ignore. "Luna Rose Darling" I said blushing. I put my hands over my face to hide my blush. Mystery boy smiled at me and said something I never expected, especially from a complete stranger....
