chapter 14

'hey' Dan and Drew woke me up as i had forgotten myself where i had slept beside Kim's hospital bed.

'go change, I'll watch over her' Drew offered

i did as i was told and left the guys with her.

who is next?? i thought aloud.

maybe i should just see Jason and apologize, i couldn't afford to lose another person close to me.

i changed my bloody clothes and folded them under my arm as i walked in tears to the room where Kim laid.

they got up, allowed me sit with her and they asked me if i was going to walk for fresh air with them.

i declined their sweet gesture, i needed to stay with Kim. she wouldn't have been a victim in the first place but as she is now, i needed to be here with her.

i owe her that much.

as i held her hand to pray, i heard a ring.
i thought the sound came from outside the room, probably one of the nurses phone so i ignored it.

ring again!

where was the noise coming from??

i searched for the device that rang and saw a familiar phone at the back of the door.

Kim's phone?!!!!

that was how they were able to follow us to the mall! her phone had been switched on the whole time!

i ran out of the room to find the guys and out of the hospital eventually..i couldn't find them in the common rooms so i checked outside. i ran to them as i saw them and explained what i had put together as the cause of Kim's condition.

as we talked, a message came in through the phone and it read thus:

THAT IS WHAT YOU GET FOR LEAVING ME, GOING AGAINST ME AND MAKING EMMA HUMILIATE AND DIVORCE ME. WE COULD HAVE SHARED THE MONEY IF ONLY YOU AGREED TO BE MINE, FUCK ME ONLY AND GOTTEN RID OF HER.

I DID THIS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU KIM..JASON.

i screamed aloud-----WHAT??

i became dizzy afterwards and i fell to the floor.
