I went in the studio where Jamal was at, and guess who was there?
D-Major....
Ugh, I SO do not like that guy, especially after what he did to Jamal and I's "relationship". Most of that reason is that he's been under Jamal secretly without anyone noticing. Trust me, I'm not stupid. He's terrible at hiding this when I see it in his infatuated eyes. Get in line, Dick-Major. You're not the only person who wants him.
Jamal and D-Major was doing a song together. Jamal was mainly focusing on his music, while D-Major kept making smile gestures his way.
Nigga, please....I knew Jamal before your ass, and I can do better . Telling from this angle, you're half of a three while I'm a whole ten at that.
"Hey, man, I love that. You know what I really love about it? It's your voice, man. It resonates." D-Major said to him.
Jamal smiled very thin.
"You need to work on that." He moved away.
"Yeah, I could do that."
They became silent for a moment, and I just stood near the doorway. I had envied this guy ever since that first day he insulted Jamal. It was time that he knew the Ne'veah Summers, the one who can show her bad side and keeping my professional business in place. I was going to be a bitch today without question.
"Well, Mr. D-Major, you wouldn't know how Jamal likes to do his music, so you have a long way to go before you can ever catch up." I said to him all sassy, making them jump at my presence.
"Oh, Ve..." Jamal said surprised and nervously, but got himself together and got a straight face. "What are you doing here?"
"Lucious wanted me to come and check to see if you made any process. I also come to tell you that I apologize for our previous conversation and hope you would want the same thing. I know this isn't the best time," I looked at D-Major glaring at me, as I continues my point. "But I don't want this to ruin our business together. So, are we clear?" I said nicely, making Jamal look dumbfounded and shocked at my reaction, but agreed.
"Uh, yeah, we cool." He agreed, shaking my hand. We then stood there awkwardly, until D-Major spoke up.
"You know, I believe we haven't met officially, Ms..." He trailed off.
"Summers. Ne'veah Summers. I'm the PA to Cookie and Lucious Lyon, not to mention Jamal's best friend, actually." I said professionally. I had a bit of anger and slight jealousy of his interest, but I had learned to control my emotions through my job when needed.
D-Major looked at me, confused. Yeah, best friend, bitch. Not to mention the only person other than Cookie and Becky, who knows him like the back of his head and will never be replaced by someone irrelevant like him.
Jamal cleared his throat, knowing the tension in the atmosphere.
"Uh, Ne'veah, I'm kind of busy right now, but I'll catch up with you later." Jamal said.
I nodded solemnly,
"Yeah, have fun with your new friend." I went out to the door, but stopped. "Oh, and Jamal, that song needs a little more tempo, because it's too flat. I suggest you place more beats to make it sound catchy." I smiled innocently. Jamal looked at me surprised and smiled, while D-Major looked stupid and slightly jealous and mad.
"Thanks, Ne'veah. I needed that." Jamal complimented me hesitantly. I looked at D-Major with a smirk,
"Have a nice day, D-Minor."
"D-Major." D-Major seethed.
"Yes...how could I be so forgetful?" I fakingly smiled bluntly, heading out to the door.
