"Are you sure you have to do this?" Maggie asked me.
"Yes" I said a little harsher than I meant to. It's just, whenever I told them that I had to tell Harry something, they rolled their eyes and huffed. They were mostly scared though, and I can't blame them. I'm scared myself. And yes, what he did last night was.. Nice I guess, but I'm not going to make a big deal out of it. I just want to say thanks and get out of this place.
"Pease!" Maggie pleaded to me. They've been like this ever since I told them, right after school. That's it.
"I have to" I snapped, turning to Maggie. Kristen was keeping her mouth shut because she knows it's no use trying to change my mind. " If you two don't want to come, then sit In the car! But I have to do this." I told them, even harsher then the first time. I don't have to do this, I just want to forget this ever happened.
I spun around, walking into the dark ally that I was in lastnight, no longer hearing their footsteps behind me.
The two boys I was walking towards, stared at me with evil smirks plastered on their faces. I rolled my eyes as the dark headed one looked me up and down.
A sudden rush of fear came over me as I heard footsteps from behind me. Turning around swiftly, I realized it was only Harry. Which is bad enough.
He walked closer to me, studying my every move.
"What are you doing here?" He snapped.
"I'm here to say thanks." I sighed. No expression in my tone at all. He looked to the ground, then back up. A slight chuckle escaped his parted lips.
He stared at me, as if he were waiting for something to happen.
"What?" I asked harshly.
"You can leave now." He snapped.
"Jerk." I mumbled, walking past him. I suddenly regretted saying that when he grabbed my arm, pulling me closer to him.
"What was that?" He asked. Our faces inches apart. My heart started beating rapidly, wondering what his next move was going to be.
My mind raced with all kinds of thoughts, mostly me wanting to get away from him so badly.
It's like no matter what he does or says, there's this dark tension coming from him. Like if he wanted to, he could control me how ever he liked. Not in the good way. Acctually, there isn't a good way.
"Nothing." I said. Fear taking over my entire body.
Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, he leans closer to me and whispers in my ear.
"Do I frighten you?" He asked. His lips slightly touching my skin. A shiver went down my spine and I nodded slowly.
"Good" He whispered again. He let go of his grip on me, giving me freedom to run. Which is exactly what I did.
I jerked away from him and ran as quickly as I could to Maggie's car.
I climbed into the car quickly, me in the front, Kristen was in the back and Maggie is driving. We didn't look at them, Maggie just started the car and drove off as fast as she could.
They didn't want me to do this, but I had to. Even though I regret it now.
He is so stupid! All he's got going for him, is his major ego and he just happens to be hot. That's about it.
Well, and the fact that he possibly saved my life.
"Okay, so where to now?" Maggie asked.
"Food please!" Kristen said loudly "I'm dying of hunger back here!"
I smiled. She could be funny most of the time, but Kristen rarely had time for anything serious.
Maggie pulled into a little Mexican restaurant, parking her car in the parking lot. We got out of the car and started to walk towards the door. My phone vibrated in my back pocket, and I reached for it.
It was a text from Dylan. That's weird. He never texts me unless it's an emergency..
From: Dylan :)
'Hey! Guess what!'
'What?' I replied
'I'm sleeping over at a friends house so no Mom and Dad tonight! :D'
'Me too! I'm so happy! And what friend?'
'Micheal ;)' He texted. Oh.. Micheal is the one with the REALLY hot brother.. Sweet!
'Oh? Well tell Michael's Brother to call me ;)' I texted as a joke.
'Sure ;) I gtg bye!'
'Bye!'
That ended our conversation. I'm pretty close with Dylan. We've told each other practically everything. He's 14 and you can't get that with most 14 year olds. I guess it's because of our parents. Them being how they are, Dylan and I have grown incredibly close over the years.
We sat down at a booth, and a waiter came to take our drink orders.
I'm so thankful it's Friday. I get an entire night from my parents to sleep over with Maggie. It's not like we're going to Kristen's. She never invites me to her house. Ever.
