A bright light shined through the window waking me up and letting me know that it was morning.
I yawned and went downstairs.
I entered the kitchen, and Harry was sitting at the bar with his face in his phone.
I took a deep breath, letting him know I was in the room and he looked up.
He put his phone down and propped himself up on his elbows.
"Where's Kathryn?" Was all I said.
"She left. She probably wont be back until late tonight." He stated casually.
"Oh." I walked over to the fridge and got out some Orange juice.
"So why were you crying last night?" He asked. My eyes grew wide, I took a deep breath and became oddly nervous.
"I thought you were drunk?" I stayed still, my back to him.
"I was, barely. But I still remeber what happened last night." He spun me around to face him.
"Everything?" I stutered, not looking him in the eyes.
"Yes," He lifted my chin. "Everything. I remember pulling you onto my lap," A small smile began to tug at my lips. "I remember the kiss, and I remember you running away crying. What happened?" He asked sweetly.
"Nothing important." I looked away and started to walk out of the room.
"Nicki, tell me. I'm not asking, I'm demanding." He snapped. "You tend to do this a lot; walk away everytime you have something to hide. Not now. You're going to tell me whether you like it or not." He grabbed my arm and held it tightly.
I shouldv'e been scared right about now, But I couldn't help but smile. I also couldn't help but turn back around and jump in his arms, giving him a bone crushing hug. He stumbled back, but soon returned the hug and began laughing as I pulled away.
"What was that for?" He asked.
"That's the most you've said to me since we got here." I smiled.
"Oh," He looked down. "I'm sorry. It's just, you were out shopping, and you wouldn't talk to me and-"
"Harry," I chuckled cutting him off. "Forget it, it's fine." I assured him.
He put a wide smile on his face. "So will you tell me now?"
"Only if you tell me why you kissed me last night, and why you've been avoiding me." I pointed a finger at him.
"Deal." I sighed in relief that he was acctually going to tell me. "If," He added. "You wait unil seven tonight, and hang out with me until then." I looked at him oddly, but nodded.
"Good girl." He patted my head. I laughed at him and watched him walk up the stairs.
It feels really good to have Harry back. The Harry that I grew to know and like. The Harry that knows me, and the Harry that cares.
"You coming?" He looked back.
"Where?" I asked confused.
"We're going to hang out arn't we? I figured we get changed than watch a film or something." He shrugged casually.
I thought for a minute, thinking about how we were both in our pjs.
Well, he's not in his pjs, he's in a pear of sweats with a grey sweatshirt over his head.
"No." I shook my head. "Let's just stay in these clothes. It's more comfy." I wiggled my toes. His laugh filled the room, and he ran back down the stairs.
"Anything you wish Ma' Lady." He smiled, walking into the livingroom.
That's one of his British terms right?
