He led me further in the cave. And I was scare to death.
Why had I followed him deeper down here? I have no idea.
My thoughts were everywhere as we went deeper and deeper.
Headquarters?...
Aliens?...
Powers?...
Carlton?...
Space?...I walked right into Carlton. I didn't even realized he stopped.
I looked up at him. He staring right ahead. I followed his gaze.
There, behind a few boulders was a big metal door.
How it got there? I have no clue.
Engraved on it were several golden words in Greek, Egyptian and Roman. I could read the Greek words clearly in the blue light.
Wait, blue light?
I instinctively looked down and lo and behold I was glowing blue. Air stopped in my throat.
Carlton turned around.
I brought my hands closer to my face and examine my fingers like they were new. Well at the moment they were.
Blue wisps of air floated around my fingertips. I twisted my fingers and the blue increased. I then started rotating my entire hand and a little blue tornado formed over it.
"Woaw."
He chuckled.
"What's causing this?" I asked completely intrigued by this new fascination.
"Elements." He said walking off. I followed.
"Elements?"
"You know, rocks, stones, precious stones."
"No, I don't know. Which stone on earth can do that?"
"Actually its not on earth."
I stopped.
"We're still on earth, right?"
He chuckled again.
"Yes, we are. But its from another planet. Another galaxy. It was brought here by accident. It makes its kind skin glow."
Now I was dumbfounded.
"My skin is glowing."
"Precisely."
My breathing became difficult.
"Carlton?" I asked shakily.
"Yes."
"You realize what you're saying right?"
"Yep."
I did the strangest thing I thought I could do in a situation like this.
I laughed.
I didn't just laugh. I laughed until tears came to my eyes. I laughed like a mad woman. I couldn't stop. I started jumping up and down, hugging my sides.
I wholeheartedly laughed.I fell on my knees and started rolling on the ground, hugging my sides and laughing wildly.
Few minutes later, I stopped. But I was still giggling. I looked up at Carlton who seemed very worried and concerned.
He should be. Very worried.
"You finished?" He asked.
I got on my knees giggling.
"No!"
And I went into another fit of laughing. I felt light and that all burdens were taken off me. It felt good.
I swear my head was spinning 360°.
