"God damn it Kellin, answer your fucking phone." The baby that had once been the cute quiet bundle of sunshine is now a screaming little monster. Kellin had left Vic at his house while his mother was at the ward promising that he would be back after he got a few things.

It had been two hours since he left and Vic was getting impatient as the baby screamed her lungs out. He tried calling again and still no reply, might as well figure out what's wrong with Rosie, he thought. Rosie was in a high chair that Kellin found in his attic and he was trying to find out what could be wrong, the baby refusing to take the bottle that he tried to feed her.

His phone rang and he practically leaped towards it and answered quickly.

"Kellin you fucking dick, Rosie won't stop crying-" Vic was cut off by another voice.

"Who the hell is Rosie?" Andria's voice rang from the other side.

"Oh it's just you."

That's a nice way to greet your bestest friend." She said, vic rolled his eyes because he knew she was calling him for some stupid reason.

"What do you want?" He snapped, Rosie looked up at him and stayed quiet. Finally, he thought.

"Well, darling, I'm applying today and I wanted to know if you wanted to help me narrow down my choices." She said hesitantly, Vic thought, well Kellin isn't here and he did need company.

"Sure, give me a few and I'll be over soon. By the way, can you help me get the baby out of the car when I get there?"

-

"Why the fuck do you even have a baby? This is unreal." She scoffed, unbuckling the tiny infant from the seat. Vic was leaned against the car watching the girl work on untangling the child.

"Well, Kellin can make the impossible, unfortunately possible." He sighed as he watched Andria successfully get the baby out of the car unharmed.

"That's so romantic." She says, instantly getting an annoyed response from Vic.

"Shut up, its not even like that. He tries to help but usually makes me feel worse, I'm always second guessing myself, always wondering why he likes me so much. Like why me, ya know?" They walked in together looking like a family and for some strange reason it brought a smile to Vic's face.

"Ever since you started hanging out with kelly-kins you started talking different." She stated, cradling Rosie in her arms.

"How would you know, i haven't seen you since..." He trailed off wondering when was the last time he saw her. It had been quite a while since they properly hung out.

They went to the living room and sat on the couch looking anywhere else but eachother.

"The party- you haven't seen me since the party. I haven't forgotten you know, all of that blood. My mind replays that night like a broken record." She was calm, composed and yet he could see right through her. He was like her, he could hide everything too. He hated her for this- exactly the reason they had a fallout. She couldn't stop blaming herself and neither could he and that inevitably led to their anger and bitterness towards each other.

"Yeah well when you didn't go to the funeral I kinda got a different vibe. It doesn't matter anyways, you still haven't commented on my dilemma." He said exasperated. Andria looked him over curiously before responding.

"I can't tell you about your feelings, but I suggest that you keep an open mind." She places a hand on his knee. "Also, Vic, you need to stop being such a prude. I love you but you can't let the past hold you down like this." She gave him a sympathetic look and he rolled his eyes at her, muttering the word hypocrite.
