Scarlett's P.O.V

I groaned and whacked my head against the wall of the changing rooms. Again. "No... Maybe the other one." Marielle said to Tiffany, who was trying on different tops. I swear if she tries on another item of clothing, then I'm outta here.

"No I don't like this one. Maybe that one over there..." I stood up, grabbed my bags and walked out of the shop.

I know it seems mental, but I am who I am. And right now, this person needs a hot coffee and a chocolate muffin.

I looked around the big shopping centre and let out long sigh of relief when when I saw a Starbucks Coffee shop right across from me. I speed walked towards it, bashing into some people on the way. I muttered a few 'sorry's and kept on walking.

"Woah girl wait up!" I heard an unfamilliar voice call from behind me. I turned around and raised an eyebrow at the -suprisingly- cute guy stood infront of me. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes, a few freckles on his cheeks. He looked just like me but with a different shade of eye colour.

"What's your name?" He asked, slightly out of breath. "Scarlett Cathrine Ryder who the heck are you?" I said impatiently, the thought of a steaming hot coffee and muffin on my mind.

The guy chuckled and held out his hand. "I'm Oliver. Call me Olly." I nodded and started to turn around again. "Wait! Do you think that we could maybe hang out, as friends?" I shrugged. "I don't see why not."

We walked peacefuly to Starbucks and I internally grinned and patted myself on the back. I made a new friend. I'm just getting more popular by the moment aren't I?

"So, you know any hot guys?" He asked suddenly, throwing me off-track. I stared at him in shock for a moment until it hit me. This was hit very blunt way of telling me of his prefered gender, as some may refer to it as.

"Ooh... Yeah maybe one of two." I said casually, my cheeks burning up at the thought of Chase's strong arms around me, holding me while I was in a lonely time with no self esteem and my life was going no where.

As I've said before. I am slighty dramatic. Deal with it.

We walked into Starbucks and I raced to the counter. "Hi can I have a chocolate muffin and a black coffee?" The guy at the counter nodded and Olly chuckled behind me. "I'll have a green tea please." The guy punched in our orders. He gave us our food and drinks and we paid him. I paid for mine and Olly paid for his.

We sat in the corner opposite each other. "Why?" I asked, sipping my burning coffee. "Holy crap thats hot!" I exclaimed, putting my coffee back down. Olly laughed at me and shook his head.

"Why what? Why is the world round? Why do you have glasses? Why are there so many stars in the sky? Why-" I cut off his rambling by covering his mouth with my hand. "Why did you call after me?"

Olly shrugged and grinned sheepishly. "I dunno. I guess that we kinda look simillar and I thought I'd see what you were like. I need a new friend anyway. Old ones are a bit rusty." He joked and I laughed and nodded.

"Sure. Lets play 20 questions." He nodded and I started off.

"How old are you?"

"18, you?"

"16. Do you have a boyfriend?" I asked, knowing already that he was gay and wouldn't offend him.

He shook his head. "No. Still searching. Do YOU have a boyfriend?"

"Nah. They don't take any interest in me. Do you go to college?" Olly nodded. "Yeah, what do you want to be?"

"Photographer, you?"

"Doctor."

I took a bite out of my muffin and moaned with delight as the chocolately goodness filled my mouth.

I got a few looks from the group of boys sitting next to us and I blushed. I turned back to smirking Olly. "You seemed to have caused a few stares." I shrugged. "And you say guys don't take interest in you."

I sighed at his comment. "It's true." Olly frowned and took my hands in his. "Miss Scarlett Cathrine Ryder, I don't know who you are and where you come from and this is just a guess, but you look like a smart person and your kinda cute. So, just another guess, but many men would be happy with you." He told me in a false macho accent, jokimg about. My cheeks warmed up and I blushed furiously.

"Oh my god." I laughed and Olly grinned. "Yeah but it got those kids to look away." I looked over to the boys to find them looking in the opposite direction.

I nodded and took another big bite out of my muffin. "Scarlett!" Two voices screetched and I jumped in my skin. I turned to face two relieved-yet-angry girls. Uh-Oh.

"Where on earth have you been?" El exclaimed, throwing her arms around. I shared a look with Olly and he cracked a laugh. We both stood up and slung an arm around my shoulder. "Don't worry ladies, Scarlett was perfectly fine with me." Tiff and El turned to me with a eyebrow raised. "Oh was she?" I nodded and gulped at their intimidating stares.

"Um, sorry but she's got to go." I frowned as El tugged on my arm. "Olly, give me your phone." He quickly passed it and I typed in my number. I quickly handed him his phone back as Tiff and El dragged me out of the shop.

"Who was that?" Tiff asked. I shrugged. "A guy." El rolled her eyes. "Do you like him?"

"Duh, Olly's awesome."

"Do you fancy him?" I laughed out loud. "Are you kidding me?" I asked, staring at them as if they were mad.

"Why would we be kidding?"

"Because Olly's GAY." Their eyes widened in realisation and Tiff face-palmed.

I laughed, shaking my head at the pair.

Honestly, what are they like?
