Katie's P.O.V
Waiting...
I seem to be waiting around a lot.I knew the women, inside, was looking at me.
Still waiting...I looked in the building. Still nothing.
The women smiled, so I hid behind the wall.Come on... Hurry up!
I sighed and tapped my foot.
Still.... Waiting...My dad, finally, walked out and smiled at me.
"That took longer then it needed to be, but here!" He smiled, handing me a pass.
I took it and looked at it.Access all areas
I was going on tour with my dad in 6 weeks. I had the choice to stay, with either Brenna or Stacy, but I had a choice! Who would say no to going on a tour with a band they like, right?
I hooked the pass onto the chain I had. The chain hung from one belt loop to the other, so the pass was by my pocket.
I smiled up at dad and we walked back to the car.
I looked at my watch and shook my head. I was waiting for an hour! For 1 pass! An hour!
I was scared to go inside, cause I'm Corey Taylor's daughter and the whole world knows about it. Dad and Clown let it slip in a interview.... You can picture what happened after that.Anyway, we both climbed in the car and dad drove us home.
I placed my favourite Asking Alexandria album in the player and turned it up to a fair level.
Reckless and Relentless is fucking amazing! My phone dinged, catching my attention.
1 new message - Douchebag
I tapped it and read what was sent.
Johnny: You didn't really put my name down as Douchebag, on your phone, did you?
"You and Johnny talk everyday. Doesn't he have a life?" Dad joked, glancing over.
I shook my head, no, making dad chuckle.Katie: You're not down as Douchebag. I was joking.
Lie.
Johnny: Good
I smiled and slid my phone in my pocket. I don't talk with my friends that often. It's mostly just Johnny and Chase, but we're all good. Still friends.
Johnny was down as douchebag, cause last night we were playing GTA 5 together and we were doing a heist. Johnny kept dying, so we had to start again, at least 4 times. When we finally finished the heist, we both got less then a quarter of the money we stole.
Dad pulled up in the drive and we both climbed out.
"Katie..." Dad started.
I stopped walking and turned to him."... I'm not complaining, because it's a huge step, but it would help me if you'd speak. Just a little. Even if you just said 'Hello'. It's just with tour, things get busy and... It'd really help me out." He said.
I looked down and shuffled my feet.I pulled out my phone and sent dad a text.
"You don't know if you can speak..." Dad read out.
I shrugged and looked at my shoes.
Dad walked over and gave me a hug.I hugged him back and sighed. I hadn't spoken at all... I've lived here for a year and half now...
~
I lay on the sofa, looking up at the ceiling.
I opened my mouth to speak, but shook my head. I couldn't do it.
I got up and walked up to my room.I closed the door and started to space.
OK... One word... Anything! I can do this!
What should I say?
Hello?Hello is better then nothing at all.
OK!
I took a deep breath."H-h-hell-o" My voice was all scratchy and rough.
I'm never doing that again.
