Katie's P.O.V
"SLIPKNOT!" The crowd screamed.
I stood side stage and just stared. There was so many people. When you're in the crowd it doesn't feel like so much, but looking at them... It was a different story.
Everyone was so loud and the band weren't even on yet, they were meeting some fans, who got V.I.P tickets.I was wearing my purple Asking Alexandria tank top, black skinny jeans, that I ripped up myself, I wore my Slipknot converse, a purple Asking Alexandria beanie and my hair was in bunches. I changed my hair, yesterday, so the tips were now red and the rest was my natural dark brown/black hair.
I smiled, looking at the crowd, once more, before I walked to where my dad was at. The green room. It wasn't even green!
I laughed to myself and saw Sid sat in a wheelchair, with Clown stood behind him.
"I know you broke your feet, once, but this is taking the piss!" I laughed, walking over.
Sid and Clown laughed.
"I got the extreme-eo award!" Sid smiled, before the 5 fans walked out. 2 dudes and 3 girls."... Yeah!" One girl laughed, taking to someone, in the green room. She turned to me and stood in shock. "You're her! You're real! You're actually her!" She gushed out. She was wearing a black Slipknot top, ripped up blue jeans and purple converse. Her hair was different colours and up in high bunches, like Harley Quinn.
I smiled and waved, shyly.
"You're Katie Louise Taylor? I thought that was a joke?" Another girl asked, standing next to me, in pretty much the same thing, as her friend, but her hair was black, with a clip holding her fringe back.
"Did you not see that interview?! Hey, Katie!" One of the guys said, talking to the girl, then me.
Now! He freaked me out! He looked like Shiloh, but taller and with piercings! I was almost having flashbacks!I just smiled and slipped into the green room. Sid and Clown didn't help at all, they just watched it all go down, smiling. I sat on the sofa, as the fans ran off, arguing that they scared me, which they didn't! I just wasn't used to all that, yet.
Mick was on the phone, dad was stood, leaning against the wall, Chris was sat with me, preparing for stage, Jim and Craig just walked out the room, Jim started talking to Sid and Clown and Craig walked off, somewhere."Slipknot! 10 minutes!" Someone ran passed. Had I met them? I don't know...
"Let's go!" Dad yelled, he smiled at me and everyone got up. I followed after them, but Sid nodded at the wheelchair, so I sat on it and he pushed me, following my dad.
I sat in the wheelchair, watching them 'gear up'. "Dad, would talking really help?" I asked, when dad had a second.
He looked a me in the chair, only just noticing and chuckled. "Yeah, why?" He asked.
"Slipknot!" The crowd called. The lights went down and I smiled. I shrugged and stood up, standing where I was, looking out at the crowd. I could only just see them, with the lights out."Go!" The same guy yelled, pointing at the stage.
"Shit! Idiot! Don't fuck up! No one knows you! Rubbish! Try not to kill yourself! Love you, dad!" I said, as everyone walked out.
They all laughed and took their places. Dad waited for a second, before he screamed into the mic and the familiar opening to 'The Devil In I' began.
"I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me!SHE ISN'T REAL!
I CAN'T MAKE HER REAL!
SHE ISN'T REAL!
I CAN'T MAKE HER REAL!"
I sung along with dad.
They had one more song left, and I was loving every minute. The V.I.P fans were to my left, they had a better view, but I didn't really wanna be seen.
Dad finished the song and the stage went black.Slipknot left the stage for 3 minutes, and counting, before walking back out for the encore!
I cheered and jumped up and down. "LOVE YOU, DAD!" I shouted. I felt like a fan, who got backstage. It was awesome... I just loved it.
"This last song... I'm dedicating to someone special, who had twice broke my heart, but made me the happiest man alive!" Dad spoke into the mic, before Snuff started to play.
I stopped and looked at my dad. It's for my mom...~
"Could of done better!" I laughed, clapping as Slipknot left the stage.
"Yeah, try not to kill yourself." Sid said, walking passed me.
I laughed and turned to my dad. We smiled at each other and I gave him a bottle of water. He took it and almost necked the whole thing.
We walked back into the green room, so everyone could cool off. I was sat in the wheelchair, with Sid pushing me back and forth, gently.
"See that shirtless guy, with that tattoo... What was up with him?" Jim laughed, talking with everyone. Some shirtless guy crowd suffered, but he had a chest tattoo saying 'She isn't real'. I think it said that, but it looked like that. Either way it was weird.
I, also, saw a guy with a tattoo on his neck that said 'I'm Zack'. People... am I right?~
Back on the bus, I walked to the bunks. I got one of my own, so I was decorating it. It was the middle bunk, with Sid on the bottom bunk and my dad on the top bunk.
I had small posters on the wall, near my feet, Christmas lights on the roof, not the coloured ones, I had my SkelAnimals duvet, with matching pillowcase, and my red fluffy cushion. I had Pandie, who I never went anywhere without, cause he was my favourite toy, that meant so much to me, and I had 3 photo's, stuck on the roof.
One was a photo of me and mom, the second was the photo of Brenna and Paul and the third was the photo of my grandpa, James Cassells, Sam Bettley and Scotty."Hard to say what caught my attention
Fixed And crazy, Aphid Attraction
Carve my name in my face, to recognize
Such a pheromone cult to terrorize."
I sung, softly. I closed my bunk curtain and put my headphones on, playing Vermilion.
I looked at the photo of AA, grandpa and Scotty and frowned... I missed my friends.
The message wouldn't send for the whole night. I tried again in the morning and it sent, but I didn't get anything in return. I explained what happened, but Stitch ignored me.
I really have lost my friends...
