Waking up, I see I'm back in the cemetery. As I try to stand, I feel a tug on my leg. Looking down, there's a chain on my ankle, holding me to the ground. If I try to take it off, I feel the burn of vervain.

As I take in my surroundings, I see someone in the corner, head on their knees and it looks like they were crying. My fury grew and I tried to escape more, but failed.

"Dammit," I groaned. "Hey, it's gonna be okay. I'll get you out of here."

"No it's not," a woman said walking in and injecting something into the other person.

"Hey! Leave them alone," I snapped.

"Hush child," she said before sticking something into my neck.

I fought against my eyes, losing as darkness overcame my body.

I was nothing. I'm nowhere. All that I can see is darkness. My heart starts racing as I begin to freak out.

'Im glad to see you,' a voice said coming into the one light.

'Who are you? Where am I?' I questioned.

'Ouch, love. I do believe I've saved your life once or twice.'

'Kol?'

'Look, love. We don't have a lot of time. I'm going to save you-'

'Why are you-'

'Jessica, I'll explain everything later. I will find where my mother is keeping you and then I shall save you.'

'What about Elijah? We need to save your brother.'

'Ill get him out too,' he replied kneeling in front of me.

'And Davina?'

'Shes with me. I promise she's safe. My moms coming, just wait for me.'

I woke up with a jolt, going blind with sudden light. After my eyes adjusted, I saw I'm in the middle of the cemetery, hands above my head, hanging from a pole. My body's weak from vervain and I groan, trying to slip off.

No ones here and it freaks me out a bit, before I use my super hearing (perk of being a vampire) and hear some chanting a few places away.

A burn was forming on my chest, I can feel it. From the pain I'm already in, it somehow feels worse as I slip away again.

Waking up, I'm guessing hours later, I see that I was yet again moved. Groaning, I move to put my hand to my heart, tracing the mark that has been made.

As I look around, I see Elijah across from me, not realizing I'm here.

"Elijah," I barely made out, my voice hoarse. "Elijah."

He didn't move, it was like he was dead-well actually dead.

"He can't hear you," a woman said walking towards me.

"What? Why not?"

"Well, I'm a witch and I don't like you. Put it together," she said sarcastically.

"Is this my punishment? Watching him suffer for the rest of my life?" I asked staring at Elijah.

"Your lesson is to never mess with witches, both of you. He thinks your enduring the worst pain imaginable because of him," she wickedly smiled.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked finally looking at her.

"You'll find out soon enough. Now, does this hurt?"

She said a spell then my eyes betrayed me for the third time.

Sorry it's short! I'll update sooner!
