•Freya POV•
The men are drinking while the women are working their asses off, preparing for the horrid arrival. I haven't been able to connect with Jessica's mind again, but I do know that the memories she's having might just tip her over the edge.
Around one is when Klaus and Elijah decided to sober up and torture our mother for clues about when Dahlia will come. We all only hear the screams exploding from her mouth-not willing to think of what my brothers are doing to her.
Davina came in Jessica's room, holding my hand for more power to at least talk to her again. I've had migraines for the past week, but it's worth it if Jessica can talk to us again.
All of a sudden, my mind jumped to hers, but I couldn't hear anything. However, I saw a figure-two actually in the distance talking. Hesitantly, I moved forward and saw Elijah standing and holding Jessica in his arms.
How is he here? As she pulled away, Elijah was sucked into the wind, with me right behind him.
"What happened?" Davina asked breaking the link.
"Elijah was there, he was holding her," I said rubbing my head.
"What? How? He's been with Klaus and your mother."
"I don't know. But-"
"Wait," Stefan interrupted walking in. "Didn't you say she had a constant?"
"Yeah," I slowly spoke.
"Maybe it's him. We've all seen Elijah here, but you said he's there right?"
I nodded.
"Maybe that's her constant."
"Ah, I knew it would be wise to keep him around," Klaus smirked leaning over Stefan.
"What have you gotten out of mother?" I questioned.
"Nothing, but she's close to giving up, I can feel it," he smiled evilly.
"And how's Elijah?"
"Terrible, I'm afraid. If we don't get her back, I don't know what he's gonna do."
Sighing, I nod to Davina who begins the chant, grabbing my hand and sending me back.
•Stefan POV•
As they start again, we don't move, anticipating what will happen next. I may not know Jessica, but Damon, Alaric and everybody here cares so she may not be terrible.
Speaking of Damon, he came stumbling in, drink in hand, watching silently over Jessica.
"Damon, you barely know her. Why do you care so much about her?" I questioned.
"Because brother, she helped get you back. I owe her one," he replied setting the drink on the ground.
I nodded silently as Klaus walked out. The next sound was another one of Esther's screams. Whatever the hell they're doing, it obviously hurts like a bitch.
•Rebekah POV•
"Mother, we would be happy to let you go, but you must help us bring Jessica back," I tried.
She only spit out some blood, and remained quiet.
"Enough playing nice, Rebekah," Elijah spoke rolling up his sleeves. "If you don't want to see our retched mother in pain, I suggest you leave."
"Elijah, don't. We've hurt her enough already," I said standing in front of him. "If we want her to help, we must try something new."
"It's her fault Jessica's trapped in that hell. So no, sister, I will not try anything different."
"Nik! Perhaps you could convince our brother of this nonsense," I tried as Klaus walked into the room.
"On the contrary dear sister, if anything, we must be worse."
"Why do you care so much Niklaus?"
"My apologies, but our brother is in the deep end, and you want to question as to why I want the only person who keeps him sane back?" He questioned.
"Do whatever you bloody want then, I however, won't participate in this-"
"You hate the woman, why be kind?"
"I'm not! I'm thinking things through! Why would she help us now?"
"Because she knows she's as good as dead if she doesn't," Elijah spoke before kneeling in front of Esther. "Now, help us bring her back."
"No," she whispered. "That girl brought back the devil, I will not help bring her back."
