Pictures of all the dresses Adaline bought
Adaline Chapman:
I sighed. We had just bought a ton of clothes and Jack didn't even let me pay for them. Now we were off to Cera's friend, Carol's hair salon, called Carolina Does Hair & Stuff. "Oh boy." I said nervous for what was about to come. We soon arrived and I heard an annoying and shrill voice. "Ugh, not again." I groaned. "Eeeeek. Hey Jack. I haven't seen you in a while." Carolina said. "Nice to see you too Carol." Jack said, rolling his eyes. "So what can I do for you today?" Carol asked us. "Dye Adaline's hair brown, cut it to medium hair length, and cover up the mirror. Don't let her see her hair until after she's finished." Jack replied for me. "Got it." Carol said nodding her head. "Ok Jack sit right there. We'll call you in when she's ready." Carol said all professional. "Ok sweetie, sit in this chair and let us do the magic." Carol said with enthusiasm. I sat in the chair as she washed, shampooed, and massaged my hair. "It's so relaxing. I wish I had known about this place before, now I think I'll go here all the time to get my hair done." I said to her. "Well we do try to make sure all our customers feel very comfortable and relaxed." She said with a warm smile. After a few more minutes, she quickly brushed and dried my hair. Then came the hard part. "My hair took a while to grow so hopefully this was worth it." I silently pleaded. I felt the snips and the snaps of the scissors cutting through my hair and dropping onto the floor and waited patiently until Carol was done. "Ok." She said. Now the last part, dyeing my hair. Hopefully it will look great and not at all as horrible as I'm imagining it to be right now. I felt the cold and sticky dye go in my hair as Carol mixed and massaged the brown dye into my hair. "Then I just realized something. "Hey Carol?" I asked. "Yes?" She said. "Why did you wash and dry my hair if you're just going to do that again?" I asked confused. "Well that's because it's how we do things around here in Carolina Does Hair & Stuff." She answered. "Ok, I guess." I said, still very confused. "Ok, let's just wash it again, dry it and then you'll be done and able to see your gorgeous new hair!" She exclaimed giddily.
~~~~5 minutes later~~~~~
My hair was all dry now and all that was left to do now was wait for Jack to come in so I could see my new hair. Jack walked into the hair salon, looking around trying to find me. I quickly turned my chair around so he wouldn't see me and think that I was a normal customer. "Excuse me?" Jack said. He didn't get finish his sentence before I turned around. "Yes?" I asked, acting clueless.
His face was a little too close to mine and we gazed into each other eyes. I had never thought the color hazel brown could look so gorgeous and mesmerizing at the same time. I felt his face getting closer and closer until our noses were touching, and I could feel his breath tickle my face. It smelled of mint which I love the smell of. Our faces were getting closer and closer by the second. I wanted to stop myself, but at the same time, didn't ever want this moment to end. Just when our lips were about to touch each other's, someone cleared their throat. "Aw, you guys are so adorable." Cera and Carolina squealed. We instantly backed away from each other, feeling more flushed then a cherry tomato. "Then he suddenly looked at me, all flustered, and said, "You look gorgeous Adaline." He said, giving me a warmhearted smile. I smiled back and blushed. "Thanks. Hey Carolina? Can I look at my hair now?" "Of course sweetie." She said and took the cloth off the mirror. I gasped as I saw the gorgeous girl in front of my reflection. This couldn't be me, she's way to pretty to be plain, old me. "Thank you guys so much for everything." I said crying.
Author's Note:
Hi again! I'll be posting author's notes every chapter and there will also be one more part to the makeover section of the story. Sorry, there's a typo that I can't fix, but Cera is Jack's sister, NOT his friend. See you guys later.
