~~~~~~~~~"Are you ready, milord?" (Y/N) asked, looking up at the lord who was saddled on top of a white and black horse. She couldn't see who it was but she definitely knew it was a man, but his face and body was covered with a hood and cape. He silently nodded and shifted uncomfortably in the saddle. (Y/N) nodded and adjusted her (A/T) Armor. She put on a helmet and grabbed her sword.
She grabbed the reins on the horse and led it into the forest, off of the trail so no one would think to follow. No big threats have happened, mainly wolves and bandits, no match for (Y/N). She sighed as she led the horse through the canopy of leaves. The place where she was taking the lord was quite far, and would take four days at tops, but it was going to take a little longer since the lord asked if they could stop by a certain village for something. (Y/N) obliged, but still the village was a good five hour walk from where they were now.*Time Skip to Three hours later.*
"If you would like we can stop and rest for a few moments milord." (Y/N) said. The Lord nodded and got off of the horse. (Y/N) quickly tied up the horse to a tree and leaned against it. She took off her helmet and felt the cool breeze ripple through her hair.
The lord sat cross legged on the ground, staring blankly at it. They say there awkwardly for a good 10 minutes. "So, why don't we continue?" (Y/N) said. The lord nodded and quickly stood up, he seemed glad to end that awkwardness as much as she was.
He saddled back up on the horse and (Y/N) grabbed the reins once more. After a couple of hours and more wolves, the small village that The Lord spoke of. (Y/N) led the horse up to the gate and waited. "What can I do for you?" One of the guards said from above. "We're literally just passing through!" (Y/N) said, putting her sword back into her scabbard, so she would look less threatening.
The gate pulled open and (Y/N) walked through with the horse. "So why did you want to see this place so badly?" (Y/N) asked, trying to make small talk. The lord didn't answer, just observed the surroundings.
There was a big market with people bustling about and children who were running around and playing, pausing occasionally to look at the mysterious woman with armor leading a horse with a hooded figure on it. That woman was indeed (Y/N).
Big houses literally were every where, giving the village a sense of rare style that no where else had.
Then a high pitched scream rang through, causing everything to go silent. (Y/N) turned her head to see groups of men in armor, destroying everything. (Y/N)'s heart sped up.
"Protect the lord at all costs."
That was her mission.
"Don't let anything happen to him."
(Y/N) pulled her sword out of the scabbard. A man stalked towards them and (Y/N) recognized him immediately.
"Don't let O'khasis find out."
It was him, Zane, the high priest of O'khasis.
"And DON'T fail this."
