I've been trying to stay put with your racist and unjustified shiet for too long.
Donald trump is the official republican nominee now, meaning his chances of winning president is very high.
Personally, I don't give a shiet about him or what he does, but let me tell you why I'm worried.
Okay, so if you're not American (be thankful) then you might not understand how the voting system works here.
I'm not sure whether or not other countries use the Electoral college method, but basically what it is that people's votes don't directly choose the president. They influence who will be president.
Anyways, back to what worries me.
It's he fact that trump is getting so much support from people of this country.
That's what scares me.
I'm supposed to continue to grow up here and go to college and find a job and live here.
Tell me exactly, how can I feel safe while doing any of those thing, knowing that half the country hates anyone who's not white, rich, and a trump supporter?
I've decided this long ago, but it's my first time being open about it; a few years after I graduate, I'm leaving this place.
Honestly, that just gives me even more motivation to keep on practicing the languages I'm working on.
I'm not sure exactly where I want to go, but I'm thinking either Spain or somewhere in Southeast Asia.
This is something I'm serious about.
I kinda wanna cry about it. Like, I've come to despise the place where I was born and raised.
I know not all Americans are racist, and that a good chunk of them are amazing, kind people.
But again, another good chunk is the complete opposite.
I don't have faith in this country anymore.
