Chapter 56: Journey to Search for a Peace of Mind

The following day, Jiang Xiaoshuai was late for work and in front of his clinic's door, stood a long queue of people.

Jiang Xiaoshuai was very embarrassed, however he kept his calm and explained that he stay up very late last night and he did not hear his alarm clock rang this morning.

After he busily attended to all his patients, then only Jiang Xiaoshuai realized that he has not caught a glimpse of Wu Suo Wei's this morning.

Didn't he wake up already?

Jiang Xiaoshuai pushed open the bedroom door with curiously.

He saw a big bundle laid unmoved on the bed.

"Why didn't you wake up yet?"

Jiang Xiaoshuai is quite puzzled because normally around this time, Wu Suo Wei already left the room to grab his breakfast.

Wu Suo Wei replied weakly, "Don't want to wake up."

"Don't want to wake up?"Jiang Xiaoshuai's heart pounded heavily and his two black-eyes turned round, he immediately jumped on the bed by Wu Suo Wei's side. He panicked and asked: "Why is it that you don't want to wake up?"

Wu Suo Wei eyes stared lifelessly on the opposite wall and said monotonously, "I want to die."

Jiang Xiaoshuai felt his heart literally dropped and he grabbed on Wu Suo Wei's clenched hands. "Did he do anything to you?"

Wu Suo Wei's lips moved but no word comes out.

Jiang Xiaoshuai eyes are a bit red, "That part....are you bleeding?"

Wu Suo Wei finally gained back a little of his sanity and hoarsely asked: I'm bleeding and what part?"

"That part?" Jiang Xiaoshuai felt a bit lost.

"You are going to take some medication later, right?" Jiang Xiaoshuai offered.

"No need." Wu Suo Wei proceed to hand over his cellphone to Jiang Xiaoshuai. "I don't want to meet him, if he is looking for me or call, please help to cover for me."

Jiang Xiaoshuai looked quite gloomy, "You can leave in peace, I will be here to take care of everything."

Wu Suo Wei nodded to show his resolution and turned to leave. Jiang Xiaoshuai looked on his departure with a heavy feeling.
