Chapter 61: Ogling at Something Big

It was already dark outside when Mama Wu stretched her neck out from the kitchen's door and smilingly informed Chi Cheng: "Dinner will be ready shortly, dine here first before you leave."

Wu Suo Wei's kitchen is very simple, only a table with its paint already worn out, an old cupboard and a large wok. Originally, there was a gas stove, but her family is worried with Mama Wu's bad memory, that mishaps might happen and therefore they get rid of it.

The wok can only be used with firewood, so the floor is full of hay and pieces of wood, with flies flying around the stove.

During dinner, Mama Wu kept placing food in Chi Cheng's bowl.

"Why don't you eat some meat?" Chi Cheng asked Mama Wu.

Wu Ma smiled helplessly, "I have diabetes, therefore I can't eat to much meat."

Chi Cheng nodded and did not say anything else.

After dinner, Wu Suo Wei helped to clean up the dishes, Mama Wu said to him: "You have a really good colleague that even willing to visit our family home. I do not care about those expensive and not practical things like supplements or gift boxes."

Wu Suo Wei took a look in the gift hamper. There is olive oil, sesame oil, boxed eggs, duck eggs, fruit, meat, shrimp for Mama Wu. These is all the things that Mama Wu would be reluctant to buy on daily basis. Normally for an old lady, she does not eat much, it is enough with four full bags of groceries.

If these things are given by someone else, Wu Suo Wei would not think much about it. But, since it was given by Chi Cheng who is a domineering and aloof young master might make things difficult for a Wu Suo Wei to embrace his role as a villain later.

"Third Son!" Mama Wu suddenly nagged, "In the future, you need to put a distance with your colleague."

Wu Sui Wei is puzzled, "Why? Don't you fancy him?"
