Chapter 57: Sly Fox

In the afternoon, Chi Cheng quickly slipped his phone to his pocket while carried Xiao Cu Bao with him and left the office building.

"Hey, Chi Cheng!"

Chi Cheng turned to JingHua who stood next to him.

"What's up?"

JingHua shoved a stack of papers in front of his face and stared right at Chi Cheng's face. "Where's your report on your cross-examination, the rest of the team already submitted theirs,only you haven't!"

Chi Cheng did not say a word and left.

JingHua stomped his foot angrily, "What kind of man, is this? Every time when we needed to submit the report, he will excuse himself and I'm the one who's left to write it in the end!"

"That's your fate." Fang blurted directly.

JingHua glared angrily at him, and walked away grumpily.

Chi Cheng was driving outside using on-duty police vehicle, he brought Xiao Cu Bao along to play with, so that he would not feel bored. These days, he felt restless, always checking out his mobile phone, like a lovesick boy falling in love for the first time.

His mind is preoccupied with Wu Suo Wei, how is he doing, all of sudden his face will come to his mind, which is out of place for someone like him.

Recently he noticed that he felt out of place, when they are not meeting, he felt empty. When he did not meet Wu Suo Wei, he would think about the man.

He remembered the time when Wu Suo Wei is blowing the sugar-candy, his two cheeks bulging.

The man stayed at the tea house and reading silently, and he can sit for ten minutes while staring at the man talking.

When he played basketball, his meaty thigh quivered.

He really likes the phrase,"I do not know whether I like guys or not, I only know that I like you."

He voluntarily dialed Wu Suo Wei's number. The other side picked up the line but did not say anything.

Chi Cheng started the conversation, "What are you doing?"

Jiang Xiaoshuai imitated Wu Suo Wei's voice, "Traveling."

"Traveling?" Chi Cheng squinted his eyes smaller, "Travel to where?"

"Baoding."

Chi Cheng replied, "That's pretty far."

Jiang Xiaoshuai is a bit surprise that he was not discovered and wanted to prolong the conversation, as he might be able to find out something new.

"That night..." Jiang Xiaoshuai muttered hesitantly.

Chi Cheng continued the sentence, "I'm good."

Jiang Xiaoshuai cleared his throat, "How good is it?"

"The next time I'll come to play with you, then you will know."

Jiang Xiaoshuai is petrified and grossed out when he heard it. Listening to him talked rubbish! This can be really troublesome.

After half an hour, Chi Cheng drive directly in front of the clinic entrance.

Once he saw Chi Cheng pushed the door opened, he felt a surge of cold wind breezed into the room.

"Where's the man?" Chi Cheng asked.

Jiang Xiaoshuai answered with lifting his face: "He went out traveling."

Chi Cheng knew that Jiang Xiaoshuai lied to him, since Wu Suo Wei missing for two days is considered normal, he do not want to ask again and headed straight to the back room and took the wooden box with all the sugar-candy with him.

Jiang Xiaoshuai warned him, "If you take away his things, he will be upset when he returned."

Chi Cheng casually replied, "Let him be worried then."

Back at the office, the report issue is not over.

After a while, JingHua pushed open the door.

"Lend me a hand!"

JingHua looked over at Chi Cheng and mentioned, "Next time after finishing the report, you may submit it directly. Don't forget to place it on my desk." What he tried to imply is that 'write me one and do not give me an excuse'.

JingHua picked it up grumpily.

Chi Cheng went to the washroom to refresh his face, meanwhile JingHua walked around with a few stacks of reports in his arms, more than a dozen of it for more than ten times.

Chi Cheng did not pay attention to him, after returned to his seat he immediately took out his favorite Dabao lotion from his drawer. He squeezed a little on his palm and applied it on his face.

JingHua glanced over to steal a look at Chi Cheng and found that he even applied it the lotion carefully on his face.

"Hey, I noticed that you like to use Dabao -ah?"

JingHua sniffed out curiously with his nose, "this smell is quite fragrant, isn't it?"

Chi Cheng casually replied, "Quite alright."

"Then, let me try some too."

Then he picked up the Dabao lotion, turned it upside-down and squeezed some on his palm. All the while, he was oblivious of Chi Cheng's dangerous glint and rubbed it on his face happily and the patted in on his fair face for a few times.

"Eh?... This is quite effective, even better than the cream that I bought for 500 dollar."

Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of him.

Yue Yue stood at the doorway for a long time, she saw everything since the time Chi Cheng applied the skincare product and followed by JingHua applied it later, from the start until the end she has been there standing there.

Ever since the conflict during their parents meeting last time, they were on Cold War. Previously, she was known as the Ice Queen Yue Yue but this time around she was defeated.

Unfortunately, people are looking forward for the next scene to be unfolded.

"Then, I'm leaving first." JingHua excusing himself.

He headed to the door and his eyes accidentally met Yue Yue's, Yue Yue smiled tenderly and chuckled slightly. JingHua did not expect this coming, however he still returned it with a polite smile.
