Chapter 6

As i drove down it started to Pour. Like literary, rain pouring from the sky, non stop. It was a bit hard to dry since i couldn't see anything, but i made it to the house safely. It was such a nice day this morning, but the weather changed so quickly. From sunshine to pouring rain. This happens in England a lot, rain every day. You will get annoyed after a while. 

I kept getting calls and messages from everyone, i ignored them though, i wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone still. I just wanted to get home, and sleep...and eat. 

I arrive at the house and park my car in the drive way. I sigh, i don't have a sweatshirt to put on, I'm guessing i will be walking in the rain. 

I take my phone and place it in my pocket, along with my keys. I quickly open my door, and run to the door. The rain hits me hard and fast. I got on a thing shirt, so the rain wets it fast. It cling to my body as it continues to get wet. My hair falls to my eyes.

As i arrive to the door, i turn back to see that everyone's cars are here. Even Harry's. I was hoping he would be out, so i wouldn't have to face him.

I sigh, and run a hand through my wet hair. I open the door and walk in.

I kick my shoes off, and close the door. I hear foot steps behind me, as i turn to see Elenour running towards me.

"Oh gosh, Niall you are back!" She said, as she hugs, "And you are wet!"

Louis comes in after her, and sighed, "Niall! Thank god, You are home!" He said.

"Lou get a towel, Niall is drenched in water!" She says, Louis nods, and hurries to the closet. He takes out a towel and hurries back to me, placing the towel on my shoulders. I mumble a thank you, and smile at them both.

I dry my hair, while Louis and Eleanor ask me questions about where i have been, and why i ran out. I don't answer them though. I just dry my self.

As i look up, i see Liam and Zayn running towards me, and hug me both. I stumble back trying to keep my balance.

"Unff" I say, as they hug me.

"Niall, you are ok! Oh we were so worried!" Zayn said.

"Jesus, Niall where have you been?" Liam asks, Daddy Direction full on.

I push them away, not harshly though. And sigh, "Guys I'm back, I was just in a Hurry, i told you i need to go shopping, and i heard there was a sale at a store, and i left to go there!" I told them, laughing. I was trying my best to convince them nothing was wrong.

"Store? Where is all the stuff you bought then if there was a big Sale that made you run?" Liam asked, suspiciously.

"I...Uh.. Ha, here is the funny part..i forgot my wallet in the car! How silly of me right? I left in the car, and the Sale ended in like tree minutes, so i ended up buying nothing! I'm pretty sure they will have another sale" I said, i walked past them, trying to leave this awkward situation i was n.

"Uh huh" Liam said, i now he wasn't convinced, none was. Their eyes were on me, i could feel them peirceing through my skin, making me tell the truth.

I turned back to them, "Seriously! Nothing's wrong, I'm fine. I'm home aren't I?" I told them.

"yeah, But at least you could have answered out calls!" Louis said, Zayn nodded.

"Uh..i was in an area where i had no service" i told them.

From behind me i heard Harry. 

"Niall?! You are ok! I'm glad you are home now!" He said, i turned to see him, he ran towards me and hugged me.

I stood frozen, and let him hug me. I could feel my heart breaking even more. Harry hugged me, his warm body heating my cold skin. I shivered, and closed my eyes, as i wrapped my arms around him, loving the way his body fitted with mine. I sighed, and enjoyed this moment.

I shivered again, as i felt his hot breath against my neck.

Harry pulled away, and looked at me, frowning.

"Ni , you are wet! You can catch a cold! Are you ok? Are you feeling alright? You should really change." He said, he took the towel from my hands, and wrapped around my shoulders, drying me off. 

From behind me, i could feel everyone's eyes on us.

I let Harry dry me off, before a voice made him stop.

"Jesus Harry, Niall is a big boy now. I'm pretty sure he dry him self. He is fine!" She said, she stood my the doorway, leaning on the wall.

I sighed, as i saw her. I could feel the tears come out again, but held them in, i won't let her see me in pain.

Harry stopped, and smiled at me.

She came near him, and placed her hands on his arms, practically tugging him away from me.

I forced a smiled at her, "Hello Taylor" i said.

She smiled at me, although her smile didn't look real to me.

"Where hove you been Niall? We all tried to contacted you, but we couldn't reach you! I told Taylor to send you a message to call you, but she said you never answered!" He looked upset.

I looked at him, "You did? I checked and there no messages from you" I told him.

He looked confused, "What?" He turned to Taylor.

Taylor huffed, "Aw come one Harry, Niall is a big boy now. I'm pretty sure he was alright, i didn't want to bother him. Look he is home now , he is alright!" She said.

"Taylor, i told to you to call him, He is my best mate, i worry about him" He said.

He worries about me.

Taylor rolled her eyes, "You mean to say that you care more about your friends than me?"

I almost wanted to roll my eyes at her! But i stopped my self, before anyone questioned it.

"Yeah..they are like my brother...i..No, Baby i care about you..i do. I'm sorry" He said, leaned down to kiss her, but i spoke quickly and stopped them.

"Ok...well I'm going upstairs to change, and probably go to sleep. " I said.

I turned to everyone, and met Eleanor's eyes. She nodded, and smiled. I smiled back, and i turned to leave the room. 

A tear rolled down my cheeks as i slowly climbed the stairs to upstairs. He was here, with her. With her.



After i showered quickly, and changed into sweats. Eleanor knocked on my door. I let her in.

She hugged me quickly. "Oh Niall, It's ok. It will be fine" She said.

I smiled, "I'm fine" I said.

She frowned at me, and shook her head, I could see the pain in your eyes as Harry talked to her." She said.

"What is she even doing here anyways?" I asked, as i walked over to me bed, and sat down.

"Harry canceled their "couple" photo shoot after the interview, when he saw you running out. He got worried, and came to the House to wait for you. We were all worried, you just left all of the sudden. Niall where you go? Are you ok? Tell me the truth!" She said.

I sighed, and layed back, looking up to my stars.

"I saw them, the way he ran to her so happily, the way her grabbed her when he kissed her. I couldn't take it. I broke into a million pieces right there in that moment. I need to get out of there, and so i left. I drove like a mad man. I drove until i knew i was far away from them. I was so angry, i need to be alone. I couldn't take it!" I said, i sat up, and place my head in my hands, as i started to cry softly.

"Oh Niall" Eleanor said, as she rubbed my back.

"You should have seen them, El. He looked so happy, so damn happy" I said.

"Niall, Harry stayed here and waited for you. He was so worried, there was a moment when he left to go search for you. He saw the weather news that it was going to rain alot, so he went to search for you. Niall, Harry acted like he couldn't live with out you. He searched you! He cares for you Niall, He does!" El said.

I stood up, he arms falling from my back.

"No! No he doesn't, if he did he couldn't be with her right now! He is just my "mate" El. Just a friend! he has told me many times. He doesn't care El. He doesn't care!" I told her.

I walked over to the window, and looked outside. Everything was a blur, the rain hitting the window hard. There wasn't thunder, so Harry won't be sleeping with me tonight.

The rain poured down, this weather fitted my mood right now. Everything was gray and sad. The rain hitting and wetting everything in their path.

Elenor walked to me, and placed her hands on my shoulders, "Niall, Don't..don't say that. Harry does care i. He does"

"Yeah..but not the way i want him too. He cares because i'm his friend, his band mate!" i told her.

"Yeah, but he still at your side. Taylor..she is probably just a fling, like the others. Harry..he won't last with her. Niall, you got to believe in your self. You will find Happiness, with Harry or without him., You deserve happiness, you really do. And you will find it. Trust me, everyone does at the end."

"Everything will be ok at the end, if it is not ok then it is not the end" I say, quoting a quote.

Eleanor, smiling, "Yes, Exactly, You need to be strong!" She says. I turn to her, and nod. "You can do this!"

Eleanor was right. Even if Harry won't be mine, i can't give up. I need to stay strong, for harry and for my self. Even though i know i will be in pain when i see them together, i got act strong. Place a smile on my face, and act as if everything is ok. If Harry is happy, i should be too,

I smile, and thank her. After we hug, she smacks me in the arm.

"Ow! What was that for?" I tell her, rubbing my arm.

"That lie about shopping, and all was so lame!.. Oh..I'm Niall Horan, and i went shopping but i didn't buy anything because i forgot my wallet in the car! How silly of me! Hahaha!" She said, in a horrible Irish accent. I laughed at her, at her lame attempt.

"Don't laugh!" She said, smacking me again.

"Ow! Stop that!" i tell her.

She rolls her eyes, and smiles at me.

My door opens, and Louis comes in, and closes it again.

"Oh, Louis, Yeah come in! Thanks for knocking first!" I tell him, sarcastically. 

He completely ignores me, and walks over to me. Before i say anything he hugs me.

"Oh Niall, Are you OK? Harry doesn't deserve you, you are a great person. There are other fish in the sea, Harry doesn't know what he is missing, Taylor is nothing compared to you. You are better!" He said, speaking quickly, as he hugged me and rubbed my back.

I looked at her Eleanor, frowning at her.

I knew it, she had told Louis.

"El, you promised you wouldn't say anything!" I tell her.

She looks down, "Uh..well...i sorta...kinda...told Louis" She said.

"Eleanor!" i say.

Louis unwraps his arms, and looks at me, frowning.

"I knew something was up, before El talked to you!" He said, frowning.

I sighed, "Great! Who else knows?!" I say, pulling at my hair.

"Just me and Lou. I promise! None else!" El says.

I sighed, and nod.

"Let me just say that there is nothing to be ashamed about Niall. I still love you,you are no different. I don't judge you, and i'm pretty sure that the others won't judge you. We all love you and support you Nialler" Louis said.

"Oh No! Don't you dare tell anyone else! I will tell them when i am ready, you stay quite!" I tell him.

Louis opens his mouth, but El stops him, "Lou, Niall is right when he is ready he will tell them. We can't break his promise. We are his friends, and we support him on what ever he wants."

Louis huffed, and crossed his arms, "Ok whatever...but i knew it first before everyone. But like i said, I don't judge you. I support you, you are my best friend. Harry doesn't know what he is missing!" Louis said.

I smiled at him. "Thanks Louis" We hugged, and he smiled at me.

"Oh..Zayn and Perrie brought us food.Everyone is downstairs waiting for you." He said.

I nodded. I really didn't want to go back down. But everyone us waiting and it would be rude to say no to them. And besides I am hungry.

Louis placed and arm around and and El held his other. 

"Let's Go" he said.

I chuckled and followed them out the door.

Downstairs, Zayn, Perrie, Dani and Liam sat around the table. Harry and Her were no where to be found.

I smiled as i sat down, greeting everyone.

"How are you feeling Niall?" Perrie said, as she placed a plate full of food in front of me.

I thanked her, and told her i was alright.

"Seriously, I'm Fine everyone. Stop asking!" I told them, smiling.

"Sorry Ni, we just worry aboutyou" Zayn said.

I chuckled, "I'm not the youngest here, i know how to take care of my self" i said.

Liam was about to speak but cut him off.

"And..if i need anything or if i don't feel well, ill come to anyone of you, and ask for your help." I told them.

They stayed quite for a while. I ate my chicken while they stayed quite.

"Ok...we were just worried...especially Harry. We all care for you Niall, we really do. If you ever need anything. We are here for you." Liam said.

I nodded, thanking him.

"Speaking of Harry...where is he?..and uh..Taylor" i asked, looking down at my plate.

  I could hear Lou and El sigh. Even though it hurts, i still wanted to know where he was.  

"They went out for dinner, or something. I don't know Taylor practically dragged Harry out the door!" Dani said, shaking her head. I could see that Dani wasn't thrilled about Taylor either.  

I nodded, and continued to eat. None spoke about me, and what happened earlier, i guess they thought that it was better that they just let it drop than keep asking me.    

After we all finished, we all went our separate parts. Dani and Liam went to the living room along with Zayn and Perrie.  

Louis and Eleanor wanted to stay with me, but i told them i was too tired and wanted to sleep. Even though it was a bit early, i just wanted to be along for a bit.  

I said good bye to everyone, and upstairs. I closed my door behind me and layed on my bed. I place my head phones in my ears, and grabbed my phone.   

I scrolled through my phone, looking for a song to find. After i gave up, and played it on shuffle. The first song that came on was , "Flaws" by Bastille. I had forgotten that i had this song on my phone, they were a good band. Nice song.   

The song started playing, i closed my eyes listening to the music.

 I sighed.  

A whole in my soul? Much more like a whole in my heart.  

And the only person that can fill it is Harry....just Harry.  

The song continued to play, filling my ears with words. Half way trough the song, i was already in tears. It hurt..it hurt so much. I wanted him to be with me, with me and only me. Not her..just  me.  

"Harry" I said, as i turned and buried my face in my pillow, crying softly. I wanted him..i want him to be the one to clam me down, to tell me everything will be ok, to hug me and kiss me....i want him.  

The rain still poured down outside, but it was much calmer now. Everything was still dark, and sad...so sad. Like me.  

I layed on my bed listening to music, and crying. Music is what i only had right now.... Harry left.  

With her...When is he coming back? When he will get tired of her and leave her? I want him for my self, but i know he will never me mine. I hurts to know that he is happy, but with someone else. I want to be that person that makes him laugh, that makes him happy.   

I open my eyes, they are wet with tears. I shouldn't be so sad, but i can't help it, it really hurts. Louis and El are right, i should stay strong, if Harry is Happy i should be Happy....i should be happy.
