The stars shined above in the darkened sky, a small warm breeze blew through the trees, as i sat by the pool in one of the lounge chairs. 

The moonlight reflected on the pool, shining the water  beneath, as it laid still. 

We just arrived back form the carnival, high on sugar and happiness. Although, when we all got home the house was dark and quiet. We thought that the party must have been still going, but no one was home, as if it never happened. I wonder what had happened, why did it got canceled? 

We didn't care though, we were happy and didn't want anything to ruin that. So we walked in, and the others went to their room to change or sleep.

I was sitting up, looking up at the sky, with my turtle in between my legs, holding my mobile close to my ear, as i listened closely.

"I'm fine Niall, I'm home now" Aiden said, i smiled and nodded even though he could not see me.

I had forgotten that Aiden had left his bike at the shopping centre this morning, and Paul drove him there, after dropping us off to get it back.

He called me, telling me he was safely at home.

"You know, you have stayed the night, i wouldn't mind. I could have driving you there in the morning to get it" I told him, I reached down to pet the stuffed animal, with a small smile on my lips.

Aiden chuckled a bit, "No, it didn't want to be a bother, and i have class this morning" He said.

"Ah yeah, i forgot you went to Uni" I said, making him laugh again.

"Yeah, my teacher is going to kill me though, we are supposed to have an idea for a project we are doing, but my minds totally blank!" He said, sighing.

I smiled, "I wish i could help, but i am rubbish at arrt. I can draw a mean stick man though, does that help?" I asked, he laughed, and laughed along with him.

"You know, while i was riding home, i was thinking about our date, and i came  up with something, I know you are going to love it!" He said, excitedly.

I laughed, "What is it? Tell me!" I told him.

I could almost see him shake his head, "No, it's a surprised Babe"

I groaned, and puted, "Tell Me"

He laughed, "No, it's a surprise, You will love it, I'm sure of it" He said.

I sighed, and mumbled an ok.

We spoke for a little while. He told me that right after class ended, He would come and we can go have dinner together, i told him that was a great idea.

Since we were on break, i had no plans for tomorrow, i would probably sit by the pool, or sleep.

"I don't want  to leave, but if i don't sleep i won't be able to wake up tomorrow, and I'll be late" He said, sadly.

"Go to sleep, I'll see you tomorrow" I told him, smiling as his voice was becoming softer, filled with sleep.

He yawned, "Goodnight Baby, I love you" He mumbled.

I smiled, and said goodnight, but i'm sure he was fast asleep, so i hung up.

Smiling, i tossed my phone to the chair next to me, and leaned back, looking up to the stars, the small plush turtle close to my chest.
