Draco's POV:

In my opinion, the sunglasses that Hermione gave me were the ugliest things that I have ever seen.

However, I didn't wat to hurt her feelings.

I guess women just like pink, glittery objects.

Anyway, even though the sunglasses look horrid, they did shade the sun pretty well.

Hermione burst out laughing once she saw me.

I jumped out of the bed and struck a model pose.

One hand was on my hip, one hand was pointing to my mouth, and I was doing the "goose lips" or whatever.

"You like my goose lips?" I asked Hermione.

She laughed even harder.

"Draco! They're called duck lips!" She said, gasping for breath.

"Oh. Well, they're both birds, so oh well!" I said.

After a minute, Hermione stopped laughing.

"Draco. I know that those are the ugliest things that you have ever seen. You can say it." Hermione said.

"Thank goodness. I thought I would hurt your feelings if I said that." I said.

"No. They are sunglasses for like, a 10 year old." Hermione said, laughing.

"Well then. THESE ARE THE UGLIEST THINGS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY PREVIOUSLY MISERABLE LIFE!" I screamed.

"Well, okay then. I thought the ugliest thing you would ever have seen was your hairstyle in first year!" Hermione said.

I faked a gasp.

"My hair was beautiful then! However, it is better now!" I said, stroking my hair.

"Yes, your hair is much better now. Much less greased back." She says, laughing.

"Agreed." I said, smiling.

"Well, I'm hungry. How about you?" Hermione asked.

I shook my head.

"Nah. I'm good. I don't eat breakfast." I said.

That's because, when I lived at the Malfoy Manor, I was lucky to get one meal a day, much less three.

"Ok then." Hermione said, turning to leave.

"Wait!" I said, grabbing her shoulder.

"Can I come with you? To make sure Ron doesn't snatch you again?" I asked.

"Sure. Better safe than sorry, I guess." Hermione said.

We walked out and down the hallway to the Great Hall.

When we got there, Hermione stopped.

"I'm not sure that I want to eat at the same table as Ron." She said, obviously nervous.

"Right. You just grab some food, and you can eat in the common room." I said.

"Good idea. I don't want to get molested by Ron again." She said, half joking.

"Ok then. I'll wait right here." I said, leaning against the wall.

"See you in a sec." Hermione said, disappearing into the Great Hall.

Hermione's POV:

I stepped into the Great Hall.

I quickly walked to the Gryffindor table.

I was about to grab some food when someone grabbed my wrist.

I knew that it was Ron.

"What are you doing here, buttercup?" He asked me, smirking.

"J..Just getting food." I said, scared.

"Well, I have enough food already." Ron said, his eyes raking my body.

I tried to pull away from him.

He held on tight.

"Ron. Please let go." I whimpered.

"No can do, baby." He whispered.

"Sit down." He said grabbing my shoulder.

"No. Let go. Please." I said, terrified of what would happen next.

Suddenly, a movement beside Ron startled me.

It was Harry.

He had just sat down.

"Harry. Please make Ron let go of me." I said to Harry.

He looked up.

He had just realized that I was there.

"Ron. Let go of Hermione. Now." He said.

"But I want her. So bad." He said, his eyes scanning my body.

"Fine." Ron said.

He let go.
