Arms wrapped around her body and pulled her in for a hug. His warmth spread through her body and she suppressed a smile. He just kept making her fall in love all over again.
"I know, love. But, you know it can't be helped. Eventually, they will know. Everyone will know and it could cause war between us. We need to do this. She'll be okay. I told Chiron that she'll come when she's ready. Right now, she's needs you. Stay at home for a little bit, then, when she will be okay on her own, we'll send her to Chiron and she'll be fine. I promise you."
His soothing words relaxed her, and her shoulders dropped. She leaned her head back, and breathed in his scent. She couldn't believe that this was happening. After so many years, from chasing women and paying attention to them instead of her, he came back.
Tears rolled down her face, a smile on her lips. And she held in a sob. She was supposed to stay strong. He was almost never home, always out with other people. And she was sick of it.

She couldn't believe that she would forgive him this easily, but here she was, forgiving him for cheating on her. Cheating on her for so long. So long he had done it, and yet she couldn't resist. Resist him.

"I believe you." She whispered. "I believe in you."
She pulled him in again and moved her hands down on his chest, while his snaked down to her waist. He broke the kiss early, leaving her longing for more.
