"Em, is everything okay?"

Shouldn't the guy be handling all of the mechanical work? Even though I'm pretty sure he wouldn't know what a wrench was if it hit him in the face.

"Yes Ty, I know what I'm doing." He needs to stop with this concerned façade he puts on. If it weren't for him, I'd be home packing for tomorrow, and I would still be going alone. He doesn't know how dangerous this will be.

"Emelia?"

"Yes"

"The tank is full, can we go now?"

"Oh uh yeah okay let's get out of here." I try to find the nearest Applebee's but there aren't any, not for another hour or so, and I'm getting hungry now too.

"Um, Ty, can we just go to a diner or something, there isn't an Applebee's for a while now" He looks at me and shrugs.

"Sure Emelia, but next time we go out, please just use the GPS." Is he the founder of the GPS or something, it's not a big deal if I use it or not, I thought I knew where I was going? I search on my phone for a diner that's close by. The Turning Point? That sounds interesting, and it's only five minutes away...

"Tyler, what about The Turning Point?"

"Sure but let's get there fast, it's 10:45."

"Do you have an imaginary curfew or something?"

"Um no? It might close soon and then we would've just wasted our time and your gas... again"

He's got a point, I start my car and head towards the place. I had been driving for a while until I saw a surprisingly bright diner, which was somewhat packed with men in white hoods.

"We're here" I look over to my right and Tyler is gone. What the hell? Where did he go? First I run out of gas, then we get lost, and now Tyler is gone too. I am in so much trouble, what am I going to do?
