chapter 11

Alexis POV.

How is it possible that we were mutated into dinosaurs? I thought that could only happen in movies and you know our minds but hey I'm not complaining about what just happened and how I look its just I hate having small arms I can hardly do anything with them now. We walked through the jungle quietly expect the thumping of our feet when they touch the ground and the growls coming out of us.

It was dark and the rain was pouring down running down my huge body. I recognized the area as to that we are in one of the cages where they kept my kind in.

'We can't just walk around and act like nothing is happening we need to save my parents! And get rid of that doc that did this to us.' Justin was next to me

'And how do you expect us to save them and to go through that campsite without a least one of the guards catching us? We're not human anymore Alexis we're huge, very loud and smelling dinosaurs.' He roared back at me.

I kept my mouth shut for I knew he was right about us now but that still hasn't stopped me from coming up with a plan to get them out. But before I could tell Justin what it was the silent jungle was ruined by the sounds of car engines but then they died down.

Justin must have heard it two because he was following me to where the sound was coming from and the rain only made it worse to see them.

Grey POV.

Zach and I were sitting at the back of the old park jeep in silence with two of the navy guys sitting in front and in the other jeep that is behind us is where Aunt Claire and Owen are with two other guys driving the jeep.

We were just about to pass the old tyrannosaurs containment cage when the power went out and we stopped right in front of the fence.

"Son of a bitch. The power is out! How are we going to get to the office when there is no power to get us to where we need to be." The guy in the passenger seat cursed.

"You shouldn't say bitch." I said making them turn to face me.

But before they could say anything there was a sound of heavy walking and I felt the vibration on my seat then shortly joined by growls.

"What was that?" Zach asked looking out the window to the cage.

"Shhh! Look." I pointed up wards.

Everybody's head slowly looked up and I swear I saw my life flash right in front of my eyes. A two fingered sharp claw held on to the fence and slowly let's go and drops out of sight. Everyone in the car was breathing heavily eyes wide open not leaving the fencing.

The growls came again and they sounded more closer this time, lightening went but no sound followed and right in front of me I saw a yellow eagle eye staring at us. The eye blinked and started moving up and I saw the teeth that followed.

"Holy shit. They let it out or is there something doc didn't mention to us." The driver said mouth hanging wide open and eyes bigger then the dinosaur's.

"Do you think it knows we're here?" The guy in the passenger seat asked.

"Yeah it does." Zach said grabbing the attention of the two guys.

"How so?" They both said.

"Because your walkie talkie light is going off." I said as I only now see the red light flashing.

They looked down and then back up only two see two T-Rex's looking down at us through the sunlight roof. The one of the left tilted it head and the the other was bending down closer to us pressing it's nose against the glass roof pushing as hard as it can.

The glass didn't break thankfully and the dinosaur lifted it head and walked backwards into the forest with the other following. As they disappeared all of us let out a heavily sigh of relief that I never I was holding. But I guess it was to soon for the smaller one came back and ran into the fence knocking over and breaking the connects of the wiring.

The car went rolling from the impact of it being pushed over and were kept rolling til we were stopped by a tree on the other side of the rode. The car landed upside down with everyone laying of the roof.

"That was fun. Now to get this beast back to doc." The driver climbed out and loaded his shot gun and walked over to the dinosaur.

It looked at him fun at first but then stood its ground and stood in attack position and roared at the guy making him jump a little but not enough to scare him off. The gun shot at the dinosaur and it got all worked up and started running to him and tried to bite him or grab him with its teeth.

Soon the guys from the other car came and joined in on the situation. They shot more darts at the T-Rex which eventually stopped attacking and collapsed on to the floor unconscious. The men cheered at the victory and surrounded the sleeping dino.

Owen and aunt Claire were getting out of the car to come to us when I remembered something that could be the death of us. Working out of math I see now that; that sleeping dino is the female out of the two and that the male was on the side lines somewhere here watching and would now be as pissed off as ever for seeing his mate laying on the floor asleep surrounded by men.

"No stay in the car!!" I yelled at them but they weren't getting the message.

"Why what's wrong Gray?" Zach asked holding my shoulder.

"That's the female. Now that her attack didn't work the male will come out and attack anything that I'd keeping him from getting to the female to protect her until she eventually wakes up from the dart." I explained.

Looking back seeing that Owen and aunt Claire are out the car my breathing picked up again.

"Oh no," I whispered. "Get back in the car!!! Go back the other one is coming!" Zach yelled.

Owen getting the message dragged Claire back into the car just as the male T-Rex came out attacking the men by surprise killing them one by one. Most were running away and the rest were shooting at him trying to make him fall asleep but they were missing a few times and probably only hit him about three times that still wasn't enough to make him go to sleep.

Hey guys well here's the update sorry it took so long ideas just come and go. But I'll try grab new ones as soon as possible for the next chapter.
