chapter 10

Zack POV.

It has felt like we have been here for a week when we have only been here for two days. And I am considering going after the girl myself so that we can get off this island faster. And not have to deal with the new dinosaurs that have hatched and are living freely around on this island.

I was just starring at the screens falling asleep slowly when someone tapped my shoulder. I ignored it thinking it was Grey trying to annoy me, by the tenth tap i got annoyed and was about to tell him to stop tapping me but when I turned around to have a gun pointed at my face, making me jump in surprise.

"Wake them up now." The man said to me in a command way.

I looked behind him to see more men come in and they are all dressed in the navy clothing. I just nodded at him and got off the chair and went to wake up Owen first then Claire and Grey last. They moaned in announce and looked at me then at the men as fear filled Claire and Grey, Owen pulled them behind him and me next to him.

"What do you want?" Owen asked

The man just smiled and lowered his gun, "Oh we are just looking for two people that escaped from the labs and they are dangerous so we need to get them. Nothing special."

"Why does that not sound comforting? Why else are you here?" I said earning a look from the men.

"That's all you have to know since you are not in the navy and by the way the doc will be glad to have visitors over tonight." A second man came in front of us.

"We're not going anywhere with you until we find what we are looking for." Claire snapped at him.

All the men pointed their guns at us and the first guy laughed out load and smirked at Claire.

"Oh I don't think you have a choice." Was all he said when the men started pushing us to the exit.

Alexis POV.

'Ugggh. Why does my head hurt so much? I feel like I have been banging it on the wall repeatedly.'

I slowly opened my eyes surprised not to be blinded by the lab light again but only to be greeted by the darkness of the night. I looked around trying to figure put where am I and how did I end up here.

I turned to face the lake and saw Justin there drinking the water, but there was this memory I had of the lake but it was to blurry for me even to remember. I couldn't shake it off and was snapped out of my thoughts when a loud ear piercing roar sounded through the valley behind me.

"Ok gotta go." Justin turned to me but stopped.

I was about to ask him when pain shot straight through my body again and I laid down trying not to scream but couldn't hold it and my vision got blurry but by the corner on my eyes I saw Justin fall to the ground holding himself.

Then sounds of bones cracking filled my ears and I felt every bone in my body break and reform. I couldn't take it anymore and blacked out through the rest of the pain.

( why are you always blacking out? Even after you heard the spinosaurus!!!)

I felt the warm sun shine on my body slowly waking me up. I open my eyes and blinked a couple of times to adjust to the sun light.

I looked forward and saw a tyrannosaurus Rex lying in front of me sleeping. He was a dark green and yellow colour, I moved my head to see where Justin was trying not to wake up the T-Rex but I couldn't see him anywhere.

As I opened my mouth to whisper out to him but instead growled. I closed my mouth in surprised way and and opened it open trying to say something but I growled again.

'What is happening?' I tried to get up but only made it half way when I realized my arms are now short.

I managed to get up and walked to the lake and looked down at my reflection and saw a light yellow with dark green T-Rex starring back at me. I moved back hearing my heavy feet connect with the ground making it shake and felt my tail touch something.

I looked back and saw the other T-Rex wake up and looked at me with those yellow eagle eyes.

I roared at him asking if he is Justin, and by surprise it was when he nodded his head and he looked himself over and got up.

'Why aren't you surprised of how you look like a dinosaur and not human?'

'Because I knew this would happen to us.' He answered

I growled at him and looked as angry as ever but that's when I remember that crazy doctor put that liquid thing in me. Maybe that's what changed me?

Oh man now I feel like I'm in a teenage mutant ninja turtle movie where Justin and I have been mutated into creatures that could never be changed back to normal.

'Somehow I feel like we're not alone.' He said looking around but mostly in the jungle.

And as always on cue I felt the ground shake over a over again. The feeling of something is coming to us, something big. Justin walked over to me as if he was the one going to protect me from what ever was coming.

'You know I can protect myself right?' I asked looking at him.

Her didn't say anything back what came from out of the jungle didn't really scare me but I felt shivers run through my body. Standing right in front of us was the spinosaurus and he didn't look happy at all with us being here.

He roared at us saying we are in his area and that he was not going to let us go that easily without a fight. When I stepped out from behind Justin and roared at the spinosaurus telling him I accept the challenge for the fight. He stepped back see the two of us and knew he would not win this one but still didn't leave .

Justin pushed me to move away and that's when I caught the message that the spinosaurus would not fight both of us. I started walking away with Justin next to me and looked back to see the spinosaurus walk into the water not even bothering coming after us.
