Last moon, Burnkit and Blazekit watched Thunderseed, Voiletoak, Redmask, and Featherheart get their warrior names. Blazepaw padded toward the medicine den. He wanted to solve and not fight. Pah! Weakness, you want to be strong, eh? Well listen up. First you have to get a connection with the cat you love, Thunderseed. A voice in her head whispered. The Clan gave a new warrior Burnpaw to mentor. Her mentor was Redmask. "HEY, GET OVER HERE BURNPAW!!" He shouted. "OK BOSSYBALL!" Burnpaw retorted hotly. Good, you are making your temper seen. Don't take it farther then you mentor though. The voice whispered again. What is your name? Burnpaw asked the voice in her mind. It is Appleshade. A warrior of darkness. A name to be proud of. The voice boasted.
Voiletoak headed down the stream with Thunderseed by her side. The sat down in the roots of the Twisty Oak. "I-I have this feeling that I know more than I should." She whispered. She recalled a elder tale of the great leader Thunderstar and his mate Voiletdawn. Thunderseed nodded.
*Flashback Living in that world*
Thunderseed stood up. He was in a strange forest. A she-cat padded up to him with Voiletoak behind her. "Thunder! What are you doing out here! Voilet Dawn is pregnant and you just lay around in the sun? That is not how a father behaves!" The she-cat scolded. "Yeah, and I should know." Said a tom, his tail twined with the she-cats. He caught Voiletoak's eye. What is going on?
