Voiletoak and Thunderseed's Choice

Missing

Burnpaw searched all morning for Thunderseed. She could not find him. She was going out again. Burnpaw sniffed the leafs and caught his sent with the other she-cat they had already picked up. Redmask's head jerked up. "Voiletoak?" He meowed softly, as if, if he said it too loud she would never answer. No answer came anyway. Burnpaw follow the trail and bolted forward as it got stronger. Nettlespot was so worried. Heatherwisker paced the tree where the sent was strongest. Stonefoot and Twigberry were talking quietly, casting glances toward the tree. Featherheart was looking around. Stonefoot, Thunderseed's father, was now standing next to Heatherwisker. "We'll find him. He'll be alright." He whispered. Heatherwisker shook her head. If you can find them you can single off Voiletoak and kill her without Thunderseed knowing and then you grow closer to him, and BOOM, mates. Appleshade laughed. This was one of the plans that Burnpaw hated. Go! Back to camp with you! Leafflight is giving birth and it is good luck to be at a cats birth.. Hissed Appleshade. Burnpaw flicked her tail. "Leafflight is giving birth and it is too soon!" She yowled. The cats raced to camp, but they were too late. The only thing Burnpaw saw a was a small ginger tom coming out of his mother. Burnpaw snarled and ran off to her den, drooping her prey on the way. She slept and Redmask came to get her. "You have to feed the elders and then you can rest." He ordered. She nodded and ran off. Elderberry thanked her and she got a shrew for herself. As she drifted off to sleep, she thought of Thunderseed. Let me go to him. Please! Appleshade, let me go there. The last thing she heard was Blazepaw saying that one of the kits were called Gingerkit.

Thunderseed padded up the steep slope of the Moonstone Path. Cloud Spots as next to him. "Now touch your nose to the stone. You will meet StarClan in your dreams." Cloud Spots ordered. Thunderseed touched his nose to the stone and drifted off to sleep.

When Thunderseed awoke, he saw his mother's mother, Otterflame. What was she doing here? "Thunderseed, I know you wish to speak with me but I need to tell you something." Otterflame whispered. Thunderseed nodded. "First, the real Thunder will get his nine lives right now. I will stand as all nine and when you disappear he will remember nine cats coming to him. Storm, Graywing, Turtle Tail, and more that I will not mention." Otterflame said, touching her nose to Thunderseed's head. Pain shot through him like a vole scurrying in its burrow. Otterflame started speaking again, "A strong force will burn, causing many cats to die. The force will come to you as soon as the next dawn. It will try to kill the cat you really love. Keep her close while you have her." Otterflame meowed. "I'm so sorry, in the stars it says Voiletoak is going to die." Otterflame whispered. Thunderseed hissed and raked her nose.

Otterflame did not fight back to these attacks. She felt she deserved it. She had delivered the saddest news ever. There was something she had not told Thunderseed, for if she did, it would kill Voiletoak for sure. Voiletoak was expecting his kits and he could leave before this force got out of hand. Thunderseed has a tough life ahead of him.

Burnpaw saw a bright flash and was standing in a strange forest. She could pick up Thunderseed's sent! She sprinted along the sent trail when Appleshade purred. You are in a new forest and Thunderseed is by himself. He is yours for good. Now go take him. I just thought, this would be a good time to let you l ow I'm evil. Burnpaw felt Appleshade's spirt lifted away from her. She was evil! Burnpaw wanted to slash Appleshade on the nose. She came up with all the plans to get Thunderseed wrapped around her paw but now that she is gone the plans are gone too. A rom padded out of the trees. "Who are you? Not one of Slash's followers are you?" He snarled. Burnpaw dropped into a crouch. She could never take on a full grown cat and his mate. She sat up again, if she could gain these cats trust, maybe she can speak to their leader to see if needed has seen Thunderseed! She was so happy with herself. Appleshade was not the mastermind this time. Burnpaw was going to manage on her own from now on. The tom spun around, flicking his tail. Burnpaw followed him. They came to a ravine, just like the one in the old forest. Wait, was she n the old forest? A blind elder, Jayfeather, had told her about traveling back in time so the warrior ancestors can show you something. He snarled and fell over when he said that. When the walking into the ravine, Burnpaw saw a bright ginger tom. Be looked exactly like Thunderseed. "Thunderseed! It's me, Burnpaw!" She yowled. The tom slapped his tail against her mouth and Burnpaw bit it. Thunderseed approached and said, "Welcome to the past."

Darkscar was so worried about his daughter. When she went looking for the missing cats, she vanished before Stonefoot's eyes. Heatherwisker was too busy crying. Now he had no one to control. Without her you will be weak. Why don't you befriend one of those new kits. Badgerheart whispered in Darkscar's mind. Peppertail came running into camp. "Help.... StreamClan.... Attack....." She yowled before clasping. Darkscar saw his chandler and joined a fighting party. They headed toward the border. Darkscar leaped forward and slashed a StreamClan warrior. He spotted Dovewing corned and he saw his chance. He leaped forward slicing the warrior. "Say good bye Dovewing." He snarled. He sliced open her neck. He pulled her out in the open. When Bumblestripe saw her he called the rest of the Clan to retreat.

Ivystar stood in horror of her dead sister. She knew she had to appoint a new deputy. It could not be Darkscar though. Even if he worked hard, he is too bloodthirsty. She is going to appoint Pepperfern. She is a strong and fair cat. Ivystar called all the cats together. "Dovewing has died in the most recent battle and jet is time for me to appoint the new deputy. Pepperfern will be the new OakClan deputy. I hope Dovewing approves my choice." Ivystar announced. "I think I can be a better deputy." Called Darkscar. Elderberry rasped from a cross the clearing, "Then you two have to fight." Darkscar dropped into a fighting position and was ready to attack. Wasn't that good? Suspense right?
