The Family That We Can't Get In

The Concert

Ryan's POV

The next morning we got up to go to school since it was Friday so everyone was just excited for the weekend all of our classes were boring as hell. At lunch everyone at Ryan's table which was where me and Rose sat now was talking about some concert tonight. On the way back from lunch I asked Ryan what was going on and he said that there was a concert tonight that usually is really fun to go to if me and Rose wanted to join him then we could ride with him. Me and Rose decided that we would go with Ryan later. Now all we had to do was wait for the day to get over with.

It was about 6:30 and Ryan came to our house to pick us up. When we got in the car Rose seemed a little nervous so I said "hey who is even putting on this concert" Ryan seemed dead serious when he said "the school" and I looked at him funny and he said "no I'm serious but the Rutans control it so it's always really fun" "wait aren't the Rutans the people who own the restaurant we went to yesterday" "ya" then Rosie sighed and I looked at her funny this time and she said "that means those two bitches are going to be there" "it'll be fine" Ryan said "There will be a sick after party" that'll be the only good thing about tonight. When we pulled into the school there was no parking accept for in the Rutan parking lot which no one is a loud to park in so we had to park on the road but it was fine not that big of a walk. We went to the small auditorium and it is packed what looks like the Rutan family takes up about the first and second sections. Everyone in the whole school is here. Guess everyone doesn't hate then we'll they probably just want to go to the after party and the list is strictly people who they like. Hopefully I can get in I haven't partied in a while and I need to. All of the sudden the lights dimmed saying that the show is about to start all of the sudden it Kendalls voice and she says welcome to the annual fall concert please take your seats as this bitch is about to start. Great. A six year old swearing real cute. Then the stage lights light up and the first one on the stage is Delaney and she starts off some song and then Shayla joins in then Kyla and Jarisa but not Chelsea where is she why isn't she out here. That whole song plays through then the guys sing a song and then the lights get dim and then I no that this is her time but then only Kendall is on stage and she starts of a song and she suddenly stops and then this thing that looks like a hot air balloon comes out of the ceiling and then Chelsea steps out of it and she picks up the song right where Kendall left off and man is her voice beautiful and they all are wearing rompers and they all have some little sticker on them and it has a picture of another one of them that Ryan says they lost due to cancer last year. This poor family I mean yesterday I would have been like good they deserved it but now that I'm interested in one of them I feel awful for ever judging them. She kills this song along with Kendall and then they both exit stage and the guys come back on and sing some up beat song and then all the girls come out and join the guys and they all say at the same time "to Talan" and then Chelsea starts the song Roar by Katy Perry weird but ok. And then they all start singing and they all have their own little solo except I'm geussing the ones that were too shy to sing by themselves cause when Kendall and the one Ryan says is Aleigha both have one of the older girls sing with them. And then after that the guys carry Koda off stage and the girls start singing "See You Again" by Carrie Underwood. They make this song sound so much more sad then the younger girls have to take over the song because the older three are crying then they all are crying and Chelsea finishes out the song because she is the only one who can still single while crying and the rest of the girls just listen and she finishes the song and then they all go back stage for a few minutes when they come back out all of them have on short I mean really short dresses even Kendalls ass was hanging out but they didn't seem to care they all from the looks have on the same dress but different colors the only ones that matched were Kendall's and Chelsea's they both had on baby blue. Delaney had on green. Shayla had on yellow. Aleigha had on purple. Jarisa had on white and Kyla had on Orange. They all looked very alike with thier hair braided into a ponytail. They finished out the song "Me Too" by Meghan Trainor and then the concert was over. Rose went home with this girl named Rachel I don't understand though because she said that she didn't necessarily like her but whatever. Then me and Ryan went to the after party the only ones that weren't there were the younger group of cousins like Jarisa, Kyla, Aleigha, Koda, and Kendall. The party was at one of their old barns and it was packed their was loud music and lots of drunk people everywhere. When we got there we gave the bouncer our names and he let us in thank God cause I'm gonna try and get my girl. I mean she's not mine but she will be eventually. When we walked in Ryan found his friend Nick and introduced us and then they went off that's when I found her. She was up on the stage kinda thing with Delaney and Shayla and some older girls that I didn't recognize and they were all shaking what their mama's gave them God I couldn't look away. When the song ended they got down.
And she headed right for the keg. She had a huge red solo cup in her hand and when she got to me she ran right into me and she actually apologized that was a first. Then she kept going to get her drink. Then she came back to talk to me which I was surprised. "Hey do I know you" she said as she giggled "um yeah you and your cousin beat up me and my sister" I replied not even thinking great job dumbass you are ruining your chances with her. "Oh I'm sorry" she said "it's fine don't worry about it" "you're cute" she said smiling "we should hang out sometime " then she pulled me onto the dance floor and I danced with her and Delaney when they are drunk they cling to people Delaney was clung onto this other guy that I recognized from school. Anyway she kept pulling me closers and I put my hands on her hips she didn't seem to mind though and we just danced for like two hours. Then she said she was tired so we went and sat down by the back of the barn then she took me outside and down the side of the hill and into this little mini house all it had was a bedroom and a bathroom and a little fridge next to the mini bar. "What is this place" I said as she took off her heels she still had on that baby blue dress. "This is my little house all of us kids have one mine is the baby blue one between the ocean blue and hot pink one" "do none of you live in an actual house" "no we all have a little kinda apartment on my grandparents field each of our parents has a house in another part of the property but all of us grandkids get a little apartment as we call them" "so every single one of you have one of these" "ya even my cousins that have passed have one they are all a different color or shade of a color like everyone has theirs painted their favorite color and since none of us like the same color then we all have our own specific ones" "oh I get it" "ya I'll explain tomorrow come here" she pulled me down on the king sized bed and snuggled into my side then she was out.
