The Next Morning

I woke up the next morning and felt the heavy weight of Austin Carter on top of me. He was breathing right next to my ear and had me locked in his arms and legs.

I looked at him and noticed how beautiful he really is. His lips were slightly parted and I just couldn't resist. I traced his beautiful lips with my finger. He blinked opened his eyes and smiled at me.

"Good morning beautiful." He kissed me on the lips.

"Good morning handsome. You sleep so gracefully." He laughed at my response.

"So you were watching me sleep."

"Just for the last five minutes."

"Oh is that so." He fed my words back to me.

"Just to let you in on a little secret Averey, I watched you sleep for hours last night. I was completely mesmerized by your flawless skin and how crazily long your eyelashes are. You are so beautiful." I blushed. Jeesh no one has ever described me and took the time to look at me like he did. I liked it though. "I look forward to waking up to you in my arms in the future."

"You just know the right things to say to a girl Austin. Do you say this to all the girls you've been with?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"You are the first girl I've ever slept the whole night with." Butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I'm his first and I feel a little special.

"I'm glad I'm your first."

"I'm glad too." I realized that Jailene and Lucus were in the room next to us.

"I need to go check on Jay and Lucus I forgot they slept over." As I got up from the bed Austin slapped my butt! Intuned around in amused shock and he just laughed.

"I'll be right out in a minute."

"Okay." I shut the door behind me and walked to the living room.

Lucus was shirtless and had only his pajama bottoms on while Jailene had on a big t-shirt only. They were both sleeping soundly. I decided to make tea. While putting the water in the kettle I heard Lucus yawn and stretch.

"Good morning Cranberry Sauce."

"Peaches I had the best time last night. I met the most amazing guy who was so sweet and funny."

"Really. What's his name?" He walked towards the kitchen bar and sat down on the stool.

"Come to think of it I don't actually remember." He looked totally confused. I couldn't help but laugh. He laughed with me too.

"I'm glad you guys had a great time because I don't remember nothing after we started to dance." Jailene said while sitting up on the couch.

"You disappeared for a while Jay, what did you do?" I said.

"All I remember is that I started to dance with this hot foreign guy who was from Scotland and the rest is history."

"Yeah I had to practically carry you out of the club last night to the cab." Lucus chimed in. "Thank god you got yourself ready for bed by yourself."

"Like you haven't undressed me before Lucus."

"Yeah and it's not something I want to do again."

While they were going back and forth I decided to make breakfast. Where is Austin anyways? And right on cue he comes out.

He's wearing only his jeans and I remember that I'm wearing his shirt.

"Good morning everybody." Jailene and Lucus looked at him with their mouths open and stared at him while he walked towards me and gave me a kiss on the mouth. Jeesh get a grip guys.

Austin turned around and gave Lucus a handshake and smiled at him. Lucus looked like he seen God.

"It's nice to finally meet you Lucus, I've heard very good things about you."

"Wow."

Jailene and I both said in unison, "Lucus!"

"Sorry but he is like a God." Austin chuckled.

"Sorry forgive our friend here. Hi I'm Jailene." She offered her hand for him to shake.

"Hi Jailene it's nice to meet you as well."

"Wow you are quite the gentleman Mr. Carter."

"Please just call me Austin."

"Okay Austin, while we are getting comfortable with each other why don't we get to know each other a little better." Oh god where is she going with this? "I think it's only fair that we ask a little bit of questions, Lucus and I, since you and my bestfriend/sister are getting serious with one another. Yes?"

"I don't think that's necessary..." I said before Austin interrupted me.

"No it's fine babe. I appreciate that your friends care about you and they are only doing this because they are protective of you."

"That's exactly right." Jailene said. "Over a wonderful breakfast that Ave is going to make for us?"

"That's fine with me." Austin said.

"This should be interesting and exciting." Lucus said.

Oh god hopefully this goes well. I turned my Beats Pill on and played My Type by Saint Motel.

I finished the bacon and scrambled eggs and was starting on the pancakes. Austin came up behind me and put his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear, "Everything smells and looks so good."

"I hope it tastes as good as it looks. And if Lucus and Jay start being too hard just look at me and I'll stop them. Okay?"

"Babe everything is going to be fine. I work with people who interrogate me all the time." He kissed me behind the ear and started helping Jailene and Lucus with the table.

God I hope so.
