Please Stay Alive

"What do you mean they're here?!" I screamed.

"I mean exactly what I said. Something went wrong." He started to check all monitors as was Arthur.

"Then what do we do?!" Austin asked as worried as me.

"Follow me." Ed said.

We followed him to a door. He opened the door and we seen a supply closet with weapons that I didn't know existed.

"Here put this somewhere where you can get to it quickly." He said passing us each a gun.

"You're insane! I don't even know how to use a gun!" I said panicking.

"Averey just take the gun. Please." Ed said seriously.

I grabbed the gun and didn't like whatsoever how it felt in my hands.

He started passing us amo and said, "Aren't you glad I took you guys to the shooting range once a month." He said passing the gun to Austin.

"You know how to use a gun?" I asked surprised.

"He was the best out of all the children." Ed said a little too proudly.

"I hated going to the gun range but my dad forced me."

Arthur comes busting in the closet and says, "We have a location. It's a black van."

"How far?"

"About 5 miles from us."

"Okay get them in the truck and take them to the island." Ed told Arthur.

"Lets go." Arthur looked at us and we quickly followed.

"I'll tell the housekeeping to get out." Ed said.

"Wait what about Ozzy?!" My baby.

"He'll be fine. I'll tell the housekeeping to take him and we will get him when this is finished." Ed said reassuringly.

"He'll be fine." Austin told me grabbing my face in his hands.

"That's our baby." I said with tears in my eyes.

He wiped my tears with his thumbs and kissed my forehead.

"Come on guys we don't have much time." Arthur said impatiently.

We started to get in the truck when gunshots started to go off left and right!

"GET DOWN!" Arthur and Austin yelled at me.

Austin covered me with his body and started shooting. All I could hear was the ringing of the gunshots in my head. I started to get dizzy. I think I'm going to pass out. Everything was a blur. I'm going to die.

Everything was in slow motion. I could see Austin yell at me but I couldn't hear him.

He started to shake me but I still couldn't hear.

"WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE! WE ARE BEING AMBUSHED!" Austin yelled.

I shook my head and came back to reality. Bullets were still flying.

"AVEREY GO WITH AUSTIN SOMEWHERE SAFE!" Arthur yelled.

Wait where is he going to go? "WHAT ABOUT YOU?!" I asked him.

He looked at me in the eyes and smiled. "I told you I would die before you will ever come close to it." My only family was going to die. I couldn't let him leave me like this.

"AVEREY WE HAVE TO GO NOW OR NEVER!" Austin said.

"Just go Averey." Arthur told me.

"NO!" I yelled.

"GO! PLEASE!" He said.

I gave him the biggest hug I could give him. "I've always loved you Arthur even if I didn't know you existed."

"I love you Averey and I always will." He said with tears coming down his eyes. I gave him another squeeze and kissed his cheek before I let go.

Austin grabbed me around the waist and picked me up towards the truck. The last thing I seen was Arthur shooting and getting shot at.
