"Why'd you order that if you're just going to pick through it?" Louis chuckled, watching Harry flick tomatoes to the edge of his plate with his fork.

"I didn't know it came with tomatoes." Harry said, making a face. "Or mushrooms."

"It's a salad, Harry." Louis said.

"It's a glass of water, Louis." Harry said, pointing to his glass of water and giving Louis a look.

"What's up with you?" Louis asked, able to sense that something was on his best mate's mind.

"I got a job." Harry said, sounding disappointed.

Louis frowned. "Congratulations?"

"No it's just....I'm in a tough spot right now." Harry admitted, sighing.

When Louis asked him out to lunch, Harry wanted it to be a happy event.

He wanted to just chat with his best mate and have a good time, but he couldn't stop thinking about this job.

"Problems between you and daddy?" Louis asked, making Harry's heart drop.

He blushed furiously, staring at his friend.

"Sorry, but you were really loud." Louis said.

"Well...yeah, there's a problem. I'm in love with Zayn and I might have to go back to England for this job." Harry said.

"What...What job? Elaborate." Louis frowned.

"The head of Teddy's Photos offered me a job at that art show yesterday. His main building, where I'm assuming I'll be working, is in London. Plus, he wants me to take pictures for a wedding in London next week." Harry said.

"Teddy's Photos? My Gran loves those magazines. I think she fancies Ed." Louis smiled, briefly forgetting that Harry was in distress.

"But um, have you asked if he's maybe got a building out here you can work from?" Louis asked.

"No, I didn't get to talk to him much at the art show. I wish I could have lunch with him like I am with you." Harry said.

"Don't worry yourself about this, Haz. Everything will work out as it's meant to be." Louis said.

"You've said that before." Harry mumbled.

"And I'm right. As usual." Louis said.

"But what's meant to be doesn't always work with me." Harry said.

"It doesn't work with anyone. That's just how it goes." Louis chuckled.

Harry sighed, lazily checking his phone.

"Cheer up, Haz." Louis said, hating to see Harry like this.

"He messaged me." Harry gasped when he saw the notification.

"Daddy?" Louis teased.

"Shut up." Harry mumbled, tapping on Ed's message to read it.

"Who messaged you?" Louis asked.

"Ed, it's about the job." Harry said.

Hi Harry. The wedding is this Saturday at 1, not the next. I hope my miscalculation isn't a major issue. I'd like you to phone me when you're back in the UK so you can come down to the studio and I give you the specific details.

Ed's number was typed underneath, along with the address of the studio.

"I have to be back in London before Saturday." Harry realized as he said it.
