I was on my way to Whiterun, when all of a sudden the roars of a dragon was all to be heard.

I could see the shadows of the beast as he flew over head.

As he landed ungracefully in front of me I stumbled back and drew my sword. " Lydia", I yelled as the beast snapped at me. "Get your ass over here and help". I knew that Lydia was always falling behind but I didn't want to face this retched_winged creature alone.

I swung my blade as Lydia came prancing along and drew her sword and shield.

We swung and swung till finally the beast drew his last breath.

"Well that could have gone better", Lydia pleaded in a sarcastic tone.

I snarled at her as the dragons soul was absorbed into me.

"You really need to learn to keep up, your always falling behind, if you don't quit your little habit, I'm gonna have to find a new companion".

Lydia's eyes grew wide as I finished, she knew if I did that, she would be stuck tending to the house, and she definitely did not want that.

"Alright, alright, I'll pick up the pace, but you could at least slow down in the slightest", she said annoyed.

I tossed her a healing potion and a smile as I turned around and continued on the trek to the town of Whiterun.
