"Dear Diary,
Today is another day at Westerburg, same shit different day. When the hell are things gonna change? When will something new and exciting happen? I feel like I'm walking in a RUT for the past three years in Westerburg and I'm so sick of it! Please,Please! GOD ALMIGHTY MAKE SOMETHING NEW AND EXHILARATING HAPPEN!"
Closing my diary,I look up to realize that Ashley had been calling me for the passed minute. I pulled down my headphones from my head interrupting the guitar solo Iron Maiden was blaring in my ears and said stupidly "Huh?"as a response towards Ashley.
"Christ,Eff I've been calling your name, do you ever get your nose out off that stupid book?" She said with absolute annoyance.
"Good luck, tell me when the shuttle lands from that island." said Michelle with every hint of sarcasm.
I rolled my eyes at them and turn off my walkman so they know I have their full attention. These two girls are my so-called "friends."Michelle and Ashley are the two I mostly hang out with in our "clique." Sometimes-Well most the time I question why I hang out with them, they're not really my type of people and everyone knows we have an odd "friendship" as well. Ashley and Michelle along with the rest of their (mostly their) friends can be exactly like the Heathers'. The Heathers are the most powerful junior clique in Westerburg, shocking right? Juniors are the most powerful clique in this school, color me impressed. The Heathers can be rude and self-obsessed, Michelle and Ashley can be exactly like that at times;might as well find themselves two other separate people with the same name as theirs.
"Eff,how come you didn't go to Michael's party last night?" Ashley said practically staring into my soul.
I just didn't want to go? I thought but knowing Ashley that wasn't good enough answer for her, I need to say something that's amazing Billy Idol shit. "I went on a date last night." I replied calmly. Hanging out with Ashley and Michelle got me into lying so easily, it's a sin and a gift.
Michelle groaned loudly and said with amazing effort of impatience "It's not with that irritating Jeremy kid is it? He got a serious stick up his ass,you can see it hanging out of his jeans Effy." Then Michelle started ranting that's my cue to daze off. I already knew what she was gonna say since every time Jeremy was brought up she goes into this whole rant. In the middle of my daydream I noticed someone staring at me from the corner of my eye, slowly I looked to my right at the back of the cafeteria. I see the new kid staring at me (I think he's new since I've never seen him before in Westerburg.) ,he seemed like he was 5'7/5'6 (I'm guessing since he was sitting down)-his face was narrow with a strong jaw and high cheekbones. His eyes were hazel, unlike his eyes his hair was a dark chestnut color. The new kid was wearing a green and black stripped button down shirt under a trench coat(which I kinda find attractive) and bluish black jeans. I can't help but to stare back he was very darkly attractive;an angel with black wings. My fingers fiddle with my journal's cover, urging me to draw or at least write about him. This kid looks like he belongs in a fantasy world instead of reality; No way someone that good looking even exist. (At least not in Westerburg.)
"Damn Effy, you want me to give you a napkin cause you're drooling." Michelle said interrupting my thoughts and forcing me to peel my eyes away from the mysterious kid.
"His name is Jason Dean,He's in my American History." Ashley said automatically (Michelle and Ashley have a way of talking, they speak right after the other-even in sync sometimes.)
My eyes went back to Jason Dean,he was still staring but this time there was a little smile on his face.
"Elizabeth Morgenstern" said a voice. I knew that voice way too well and I looked up and stare into the eyes of evil.
