White Topaz

My new personal guard walked in front of me as we walked to Sapphire temple. She seemed so stressed. She was on her first day of her new job. I know how it feels completely! I remember my first day at Sapphire temple as well. 

"You don't need to be nervous." I smiled.

"What? Who says I'm stressed?" She wiped her brow.  

"No one had told you yet, have they?" I smiled even wider. She really had no idea of my secret!

   "No what!?!" Turquoise panicked. 

"As you know some very special gems have special powers instead of a weapon. Like um... Well... Some Sapphire's can tell tell the future." I tried to explain. "Yes." She nodded. 

"Well... I can read minds." I smiled widely.  

"WOAH!" Turquoise pretended to be happy on the outside but on the inside I could hear her saying 'Great, so she will know what I'm thinking all the time! What if I think of something super personal? Wait, she can probably hear me right now!'

 I couldn't help but giggle. We where pretty quiet until we reached the temple. When we got in all of the gems inside bowed for me. Straight away Aquamarine walked to meet me. 

"Hello White Topaz! How lovely to see you!" "How lovely to see you as well. Now, where is Blue Smithsonite?" I asked. I had no clue where she was, and neither did Aquamarine. 

"I'm here!" She ran up through the crowd. "Hi." She wheezed from being out of breath. "Wait a sec... Who are you?" She pointed towards Turquoise. "Permission to speak White Topaz?" Turquoise asked. Inside she was very nervous still. "Permission granted."

"I am White Topaz's personal gem guard.."  Smithsonite was thinking very rude things to say inside of her head. I tried to give her a stare that said 'no' but she had already chosen one of her mean things to say.  "But, out of all gems to chose from why a Turquoise?" She sassed. 

Aquamarine took in shock while Turquoise began to become very angry inside of her head. I was proud of her for containing her anger. No one else seemed to talk, so I decided to defend my new friend.

" I got a Turquoise because, this Turquoise happens to be a fantastic fighter. She just so happens to have the best score on her battle skills quiz out of any other Turquoise ever!" I exclaimed. Everyone in the room was staring at me by this point but I didn't really care.

"Prove it." Smithsonite pulled out her two skinny  twin swords from her gem. Turquoise pulled out her bow and arrow from her gem. Smithsonite swung first but Turquoise used a classic cartwheeling move that you learn in your first battle skills class. 

"Pathetic." Smithsonite jumped over Turquoise's head. Turquiose was now trapped in a corner, and even in her mind she had no idea what to do. "Give up?" Smithsonite asked. "Not yet." All of a sudden Turquoise had the best idea!

She made a trainer droid hologram of herself, and put it in front of Smithsonite to distract her. She left over her while she was distracted them made thousands of trainer droids to surround Smithsonite, after she had defeted the first hologram she turned around to see the thousands of others behind her.

Turquoise lifted her bow, as all the holograms did the same as if they where clones.

"Give up?" She asked. And no one ever messed with a Turquoise again.
