The Grinch

Oh yes he was absolutely beautiful. Wait, is it okay to call a guy beautiful? No, okay. I am officially a weird-o.

I walked in to the Chicken Cottage and the smell of chicken filled my nose, making my mouth water. God I missed home. I absolutely loved chicken. My best friend, Charlie, she was the one that had influenced me to love chicken more than I already did. She always ate chicken, no matter what, whether we went to the movies or to any restaurant. Any food she ate, she would include chicken in her meal.

I walked towards a table and sat down. I decided to shoot Cody a text to see if he was close by or if he had gotten lost, like I had.

To: Cody(:

Hey dude! Are you close by?

I went on twitter and started going through my feed by the time I got an immediate response from Cody.

From: Cody(:

Yeah I'm here :D

I turn around to look at the front door and we made eye contact. Immediately a grin appeared on my face as well as his. He was wearing a white with blue-stripped long sleeve that made his blue eye color more noticeable and darker. His dark brown hair was pushed to the side and he just looked so good in that shirt, his jeans and white converse. He walked over and I was immediately pulled into his arms.

"Hey Isabella!" he said smiling. "Hi Cody!" I responded. He sat down across from me and a waiter came over to ask for our drinks.

"Umm I'll have a pink lemonade, please." I said. "I'll just have a water." Cody said smiling again. He could just not stop smiling, and I'm not complaining, he looked absolutely cute just smiling. "You know you could take a picture with me and then you'd have something to stare at later on." He said chuckling. 'What?' I thought. My eyebrows furrowed. "You were kinda staring for a while Bella." He said. "Oh god," I mumbled. Immediately I felt the heat rise up to my cheeks. I was sure I was blushing hard. "I'm sorry," I said. "Don't worry Bella, I don't mind, as long as I get to stare at you as well." If I wasn't blushing earlier, I was for sure blushing now. "Anyways," I said, "how have you been? Liking London?"

"Oh yeah! The place is absolutely incredible. Have you gone to explore the city?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Oh well then, I would like to take you out tomorrow if you want, and if you have time?" He said but it sounded more like he was asking. 'Should I or should I not? I mean what's the worst that can happen? Oh what the hell.' I thought to myself. "Yeah I would love to." I said. We both smiled at each other. "Great then. I'll stop by your place by noon. Sound good?" He asked me. "Perfect!"

The rest of lunch went by fast since we were talking about our families and friends. I remembered I had to go to Eleanor's since we were gonna get ready together and she said to be there early so she could paint my nails and what not. "Well it was nice meeting up Cody!" I said. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow at noon?" He asked me. "At noon." I confirmed. We hugged and bid goodbyes.

I walked towards my apartment with a smile on my face. Wow. First time here and already met an amazing guy. Who knew I had such luck so early on here and with such a cutie. Oh yes he was absolutely beautiful. Wait, is it okay to call a guy beautiful? No, okay. I am officially a weird-o. I knocked on El's door and I came face to face with the Grinch. Oh my god! I thought it was not true and just in the movies?! "Hey Bella!" Oh god, wait what? I thought the Grinch had a rusty voice, not a high-pitched, girly voice. "Umm hello? Bella there?" He, sorry she asked. "Its me El!" What? Oh god! El! Oops! She went in and led me inside to the bathroom where she washed her face. Oh god it was El. Well then. I'm prolly not gonna share my thoughts. "You thought I was the Grinch, didn't you?" Oh shit! She could read my mind. "Don't worry your not the first one to think that. When Lou first saw me like this he shrieked and ran in looking for me cause he thought the 'Grinch' had stolen me." She said with an annoyed face expression. "But that's Lou for you!" She said with a smile on her now freshly cleaned face. "Anyways come on I'm gonna put this face mask on you and meanwhile paint your nails and what not, then you're gonna shower here or if you prefer in your flat and then I'm gonna do your hair and make up. Sound good?" She asked me. "Perfect!" I repeated myself for a second time today. Thinking about earlier today I began to smile even more, I think El must of seen me smile more because she got a mischievous smile on her face and questioned me, "Why are you all smiley?" "No reason," I said. "It's a guy! Isn't it?" I smiled even more. "It is!" She said grinning and just completely gushing with excitement! "Oh my god! Tell me all about it! Please?" She asked batting her lashes. "His name is Cody and god is he cute!" I said smiling even more. "Oh really? Do you have a picture of him?" She asked, while putting on my facemask. "Sadly no but maybe tomorrow since we're going to go around the city and obviously there will be a lot of pictures taken." I responded. "Oh great! Perfect! Take lots of them!" She finished applying the mask and then moved on to painting my nails a deep red color. Ouh sexy! Very sexy, hmm maybe a bit too much to my liking but I was letting El treat me like her little sister she never had, so I decided to not comment about it.

About 3 hours later we both looked absolutely stunning. More El than me because she was obviously an expert on making herself look stunning. I thanked El and she was just doing finishing touches and at that moment her boyfriend, I'm guessing, walked in. He was taller than both of us and had dark jeans with some nice kicks, and a button up blue shirt that brought out his blue yes and then had his hair up in a quiff. "Wow El, you never seize to amaze me with your beauty!" He goes over to her and kisses her on the cheek, to which she blushes. An 'aw' escaped my mouth. He turned around and looked at me. He looked so familiar, I just could put my finger on it. "And who is this other beautiful girl?" He asked. "That, Lou is my neighbor and also close friend, Isabella or just Bella." He extended his hand and shook mine, "Nice to meet you Bella. I'm Louis Tomlinson, Eleanor's boyfriend." He smiled. "Pleased to meet you Louis. Well Sorry for the hurried introduction but I'm gonna go get Caleb so we can go. Okay?" "Who's Caleb?" He asked. "Oh he's my best friend. He's next door I'll be outside when y'all come over okay?" "Sounds perfect. We will wait for y'all outside." He said emphasizing 'y'all,' I'm sure he was gonna make fun of my Texan ways.

By the time we came out of my apartment, Lou and El were being all lovey dovey. "Oh god," I said, "We're ready when y'all are!" They both blushed and then we headed to the elevator. We went down to the lobby and we began to walk out to his sleek car. I must admit he had style, well in cars... Okay maybe in clothing as well. Jesus! They were the fashionable couple, of course! How could I of been so blind?! I asked myself while I began to laugh. Caleb & El turned to look at me, while Lou stared at me through the rear view mirror like I was a mad woman. "What?" I asked. "Gee Bella I don't know, maybe it's the fact that you started laughing out of no where." Caleb said. "I just realised something. It's not important." I said right as we pulled in to a parking spot.

As soon as we got in line, El pulled Caleb and I to the front & the bouncer let us in immediately. Well I guess they had connections? Oh well better for me. Right as we entered the club my ears were filled with music while my nose was filled with the smell of alcohol. To the bar it is. "Hey we're gonna get some drinks," I told El and Lou, "y'all want anything?" "Uh yeah just 2 pints? Please?" El asked. I nodded my head and pulled Caleb with me. "Damn we must be looking so damn sexy." Caleb said in my ear due to the deafening music. i turned around, "why do you say that?" He looked at me with shock, "haven't you seen?" I shook my head. "You are so absentminded, all eyes are on us!" He gushed with excitement. "Woah hey! What happened to 'oh I don't want to get it in?'" I asked, mocking him as best I could. Obviously failing. "Shut up!" he said as he pushed me towards the bar. We got our tequila shots and downed them. Then we headed back to the booth El and Lou were at, with four pints. We sat down and just began talking.

"Well uh the rest of our friends should be getting here soon, just thought you guys should know." El commented. I just nodded but Lou looked like he was nervous. "What's wrong Louis?" I asked. "Umm do you know who I am?" he asked me. I gave him an 'are-you-on-drugs-look' and said "umm well you told me you were Louis Tomlinson, boyfriend of El?" I responded. He nodded. "Then what's the problem?" I asked him. "You see I'm part of a boy band..." he trailed off. I began to think and little by little I recalled his face due to one of Emma's posters in her room. A shocked expression came through my face and Lou just smiled. before I could say anything, Caleb interrupted. "Oh my god! Emma would be so jealous! You're part of One Direction, aren't you?" he asked, surprisingly excited. "Bingo!" Lou said. "And the rest of our friends are the rest of the guys from One Direction with their girlfriends." He said shyly smiling. I shook my head of disbelief. Me, Isabella O'Brien was sitting in the same booth as one fifth of one of my best friend's favourite boy band. Wow!

"And speak of the devil, here they come." I turned around and instantly connected with a pair of blue ocean eyes. They all waved and walked over to us. the first thing that popped into my mind was not that he was in One Direction, but rather, he was the guy that had bumped into me at the store. And there he was, towering over me, once again, his blonde dyed hair up in a quiff, wearing dark jeans with a white polo and some Nike high tops to fit his style. One thing could cross through my mind. God, was he gorgeous.

Here's chapter 5 guys. sorry for the wait. Hadn't slept well so I fell asleep in the afternoons >.< I even fell asleep during classes, but who doesn't? Well anyways, I'll try to update later!
